If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sanjay Sharma (journalist) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Some deleted pages can be restored by request at WP:REFUND. Otherwise, you are much better off rewriting from scratch based on suitable references. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 20:53, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for your revert user:Jmcgnh I want to Create new Article but I am not extended confirm User what's the solution to create it as It's mention that it must be created by Extended Confirm User. AnnieAsjid (talk) 20:56, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • First, review our guideline on notability, our policy on Verifiability, and our specific guideline on the notability of people. Consider whether your subject clearly meets the standards listed there. Also, check if the topic is already covered, perhaps under a different spelling or in a section of an article about a wider topic. You will waste a lot of time, if you create a new article, and then find that the encyclopedia already has an article about that.
  • Second, read how to create Your First Article and referencing for beginners and again consider if you want to go ahead.
  • Third, If you have any connection or affiliation with the subject, disclose it in accordance with our guideline on Conflict of interest. If you have been or expect to be paid for making edits, or are making them as part of your job, disclose this according to the strict rules of the Paid-contribution disclosure. This is absolutely required; omitting it can result in you being blocked from further editing.
  • Fourth, gather sources. You want independent, professionally published, reliable sources with each discussing the subject in some detail. If you can't find several such sources, stop; an article will not be created! Sources do NOT need to be online, or in English, although it is helpful if at least some are. The "independent" part is vital. Wikipedia does not consider as independent sources such as press releases, or news stories based on press releases, or anything published by the subject itself or an affiliate of the subject. Strictly local coverage is also not preferred. Regional or national newspapers or magazines, books published by mainstream publishers (not self-published), or scholarly journals are usually good. So are online equivalents of these. (Additional sources may verify particular statements but not discuss the subject in detail. But those significant detailed sources are needed first.)
  • Fifth, use the article wizard to create a draft under the articles for creation project. This is always a good idea for an inexperienced editor, but in the case of an editor with a conflict of interest it is essential.
  • Sixth, use the sources gathered before (and other sources you may find along the way) to write the article. Cite all significant statements to sources. Do not express opinions or judgements, unless they are explicitly attributed to named people or entities, preferably in a direct quotation, and cited to a source. Do not use puffery or marketing-speak. Provide page numbers, dates, authors and titles for sources to the extent these are available. A title is always needed. Submit the draft when you think it is ready for review. Be prepared to wait a while for a review (several weeks or more).
  • Seventh, when (well perhaps if) your draft is declined, pay attention to the comments of the reviewer, and correct the draft and resubmit it. During this whole process, if you face any unresolvable editing hurdles, or cannot comprehend any editing issue, feel free to post a request at the Teahouse or the help desk and ask the regulars. Repeat this until the draft passes review.
Congratulations, you have now created a valid Wikipedia article. Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 21:00, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for replay I spend 2 days on it even drafted one more article so can you help me with it to create this new page so that I can contribute as I am new here so need help AnnieAsjid (talk) 21:02, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

(edit conflict)

Ah, yes, I now see that the draft has a creation restriction because of past problems.
The best way to go about this is to make an {{admin help}} request here on your talk page. You are asking to have the "salt" removed from Draft:Sheikh Asif so that you can create a new draft. IMPORTANT: you must provide something like three good references as part of the request that you intend to use as the basis for the new draft. If you convince the admin you have suitable sources, they will most likely grant your request; otherwise, they may tell you some other way to proceed. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:08, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I found a Wikitia mirror of the Sheikh_Asif draft out on the web. If this is pretty close to your deleted draft, I can advise you that you'll need to have truly independent references with significant coverage to create a new draft. The references cited on that page do not meet this standard, appearing to be mostly press releases and other publicity junk that is unable to support notability for your subject. The promotional tone and lack of inline citations in some places will also need to be fixed. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:19, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks User:Jmcgnh let me see what reply I will get after that I will leave text on your talk page thanks for your guidence AnnieAsjid (talk) 21:13, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I saw the same but I have different links User:Jmcgnh I checked wikitia page which have promotional content and don't have good links as per my search I have different references for the same and content will be as per the wikipedia policy. Need help with page creation[edit]

hi I want to create one page which was deleted recently because the user was blocked as per the details mention on page will you please guide me page name Sheikh Asif AnnieAsjid (talk) 21:11, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If I can comment here: you failed to do the two most important things I advised you to do:
  • ask to remove the salt from the draft page Draft:Sheikh Asif which is the one you need to create
  • provide references here so an admin can evaluate whether your request has merit
Without those, the request is unlikely to be successful. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 21:45, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

User:Jmcgnh will you please ask admin for this thing as I am not expert of wikipedia and about references I will share more than 2 here. 🙏 AnnieAsjid (talk) 21:59, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, no. If you are going to edit Wikipedia, these are things you need to be able to do for yourself. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 22:10, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thanks for your help so I need to ask admin to remove the salf from sheikh's draft and need to provide 2 3 good references ? User:Jmcgnh AnnieAsjid (talk) 22:13, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
