A tag has been placed on Evanescence Third Studio Album requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. mboverload@ 20:27, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sadly, although the article was on another Wiki, it does no have a compatible license - it is only "Content is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 License." - English Wikipedia cannot use a license that is Noncommercial.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:50, 11 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Lady Gaga. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. Thank you. Tbhotch. Grammatically incorrect? Correct it! File permission problem with File:Yeah Yeah Yeahs Mosquito.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Yeah Yeah Yeahs Mosquito.jpg, which you've attributed to http://cdn2.pitchfork.com/news/49547/1acfde93.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Dianna (talk) 04:22, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm MelbourneStar. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Artpop, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —MelbourneStartalk 02:28, 10 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Artpop. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. That section had been discussed as unencyclopedic. Please do not add it continuously.Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 18:12, 21 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring

[edit]

Please do not edit war in an attempt to get the "Recorded Songs" section re-added to Artpop. It has been removed from the article by consensus. If you want to add it back, go to the talk page and get people to agree that it should be added back. Simply reinserting it without discussion will result in you being blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 01:29, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Next time you do this, you will be blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 22:08, 22 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Artpop, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 19:36, 24 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Let me make clear why your conduct at Artpop is unacceptable. Consensus emerged, through discussion at Talk:Artpop, that a "Recorded Songs" section should not be added to the article. Accordingly, the section was removed from the article. It may not be re-added unless discussion leads to a new consensus. Not only have you been persistently added the section, but you've refused to explain the edit with either an edit summary or a comment on the talk page.
If you think the section should be added to the article, you must discuss the matter at Talk:Artpop. If you present valid points, you may sway opinion and change consensus. You may not re-add the section until that new consensus arises.
If you were to re-add the section with no discussion and no edit summary, it would create a clear signal that you do not intent to edit collaboratively, and your account would be blocked until you show willingness to discuss your edits. —C.Fred (talk) 02:25, 25 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Arriiiaaaa. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Mosquito".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mosquito}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 10:02, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did at Joanne (album), you may be blocked from editing. —IB [ Poke ] 17:49, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Joanne (album), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. —IB [ Poke ] 17:40, 25 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:13, 12 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
