Hello. A tag has been placed on Eddie Marshudi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. I'm going to assume good faith, and ignorance of the rules and the way Wikipedia operates. You've recreated an article that was deleted, and removed the speedy deletion tag multiple times. Don't do such things. Go through the appropriate channels if you haven't violated the rules. In any case, read the links and guidelines posted in the various messages above to orient yourself. —Hexafluoride Ping me if you need help, or post on my talk 14:03, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I see that at Talk:Eddie Marshudi you wrote "This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because ... We need to get this artist popular around the world". In other words you are trying to use Wikipedia to promote or advertise him, which is not what Wikipedia is for, and in fact far from being a reason not to delete the article it is another reason to delete it. In fact, editors who persist in using Wikipedia for promotion after being warned may be blocked from editing by administrators. Best of luck with getting publicity for Eddie Marshudi, but Wikipedia is not the place to do it. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 15:02, 16 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
