Not assuming good-faith

Sure, you clicked the good-faith button with STiki, but you reversion [1] actually was worse. You re-added a redirect link to the Virginia Tech massacre, which had already been linked. I am leaving a note on CitiV's talkpage. Thanks Piguy101 (talk) 02:45, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

It was my mistake because from the language of the link I assumed it to be a separate page. I should have checked. I will leave an apology note on CitiV's talkpage. However, it was in good faith and I am confused by your section-header. Asdklf; (talk) 02:51, 11 August 2014 (UTC)Asdklf;
My section header is rather poor. I also apologize for my brusque comment to you. Happy editing! Piguy101 (talk) 02:53, 11 August 2014 (UTC)
No, thank you very much for pointing out to me. I will make sure to check such links in the future.Asdklf; (talk) 03:27, 11 August 2014 (UTC)Asdklf;

Incognito Drum and Bugle Corps

Yes, I would have liked to integrate the references into the article, but sometimes, it just doesn't work out the way you'd like... I took a few bits and pieces from three sources and rewrote it in a logical order, but each sentence might contain something derived from two or three of the sources, so that it made more sense to merely list the sources and say, "these are where I found what made this possible..." Sometimes the rules for citing cannot be hard and fast, but I did acknowledge the sources... GWFrog (talk) 14:31, 11 August 2014 (UTC)

Yeah that makes sense. Nice article! Asdklf; (talk) 14:34, 11 August 2014 (UTC)Asdklf;

August 2014

I was trying to undo what I thought was vandalism by an IP that had already vandalized other articles. Pardon.--Mr Fink (talk) 18:59, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

No problem Asdklf; (talk) 01:33, 14 August 2014 (UTC)

Ezra Miller

You undid my edit of Ezra Miller's page. This was not an experiment. They identify as genderqueer and should be respected with the use of the correct pronoun. There is a selection of neutral pronouns, I've used the most access one. Please reverse it back or use other suitable pronouns for this person. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.66.25.31 (talk) 21:54, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

I apologize as this was not vandalism and should have been identified as a good faith revert. You could have, however, at least noted in the edit summary your reasoning or sourced their choice of pronouns. Since this came to my attention I have looked around for a definitive authority on their preferable pronouns and cannot seem to locate it. If you could provide your reference to me, it would be helpful. Thank you. Asdklf; (talk) 01:26, 14 August 2014 (UTC)
Okay so Wikipedia policy on this stems from Wikipedia:Gender identity. If Miller prefers other pronouns the article will need sourced material citing them in order to be included, otherwise the pronouns default to those "that reflect that person's latest expressed gender self-identification" which in this case would be masculine. Nope just a keysmash. I didn't expect to get so into wikipedia! Asdklf; (talk) 13:06, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Haha. I'm sure you're not the first person to keysmash their username. Jaewon [Talk] 16:58, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Edit to Article

I am a bit confused. Since there were empirical studies showing positive effects of Dyadic developmental psychotherapy doesn't that make it evidence based? Also, Craven & Lee found it to be evidence-based...See: Craven, P. & Lee, R. (2006) Therapeutic interventions for foster children: a systematic research synthesis. Research on Social Work Practice, 16, 287–304. Finally there is the article that summarized the "case" that this treatment is effective, empirically supported and evidence based: Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy: an evidence-based treatment for children with complex trauma and disorders of attachment by Hughes & Becker-Weidman, doi:10.1111/j.1365-2206.2008.00557.x Child & Family Social Work, 2008, 13, pp 329–337. Should I add those citation to support the statement? Panasonic345 (talk) 11:07, 26 August 2014 (UTC)

I reverted the edit because there seemed to be a major amount of controversy on the effectiveness of such treatment and the methods by which the results were derived ("According to the APSAC Taskforce Report and Reply, (Chaffin et al. 2006), dyadic developmental psychotherapy does not meet the criteria for designation as "evidence based" nor provide a basis for conclusions about "usual treatment methods," an assertion which is backed by two citations), as well as its apparent de facto status in the article alongside more mainstream approaches. Now yes a citation would help support the statement, but, and I am do not personally know, is this therapy as wide-spread and accepted as your edit suggested? Daniel Cordier

Hello. Daniel Cordier is a great French resistant, the secretary of Jean Moulin and an historian of the period. That's why I think it's interesting to translate French Wikipedia. Can I or not ? Mardochee1 (talk) 18:56, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes, you may try to translate the article, but before putting it into the mainspace I suggest you make a userspace draft and mark the article as currently being translated. It is of course interesting to translate French Wikipedia, but the presence of the article there does not inherently mean a notable article will result on English Wikipedia as different language Wikis have different policy. You may also want to check out Wikipedia's translation policy. Asdklf; (talk) 19:34, 31 August 2014 (UTC)

Cameron, Oklahoma, USA

I am a resident of Cameron, Oklahoma, USA and I am trying to add the nickname of the town that people in and around Cameron Oklahoma use when talking about it ~Hosssawyer 9-3-14 22:01 Central Time

Please see what Wikipedia is not as that sort of detail is not often notable enough to be included in Wiki nor does it often qualify as encyclopedic. Asdklf; (talk) 03:07, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

company update is to the exact state of the business of the Madame Alexander Doll Compnay

The updates I have made are not promotional but intended to communicate the scope of the business today. The Business as states in my update is accurate and as we own the business and the IP, we are allowed to state the business TODAY. It is not only a collectible company and actually was never intended as one by madame herself. Please feel free to contact me to discuss further but it needs to reflect the Madame Alexander company and the legal name is The Madame Alexander Doll Company, LLC. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bea112w (talkcontribs) 03:13, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Those edits most definitely were promotional, and I have reverted them. You need to familiarize yourself with conflict of interest on Wikipedia, Bea112w. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 05:05, 4 September 2014 (UTC)

Because you thanked me

Asdklf;, you thanked me for one of my recent edits, so here is a heart-felt...
