Unblocking

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Awtsn (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I am sure that Donal McIntyre did have a show called Cheap As Chimps in 2003 and had nicked the idea from Karl Pilkington. Pilkington had previously spoke of the idea live on radio, hence why Pilkington is a "Monkey Enthusiast". Awtsn (talk) 17:20, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Unblock requests are meant to be used to justify lifting the block, not leaving it in place as you appear to have done here. WP:GAB will help you understand how to craft an acceptable unblock request. You will want to familiarise yourself with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, before making another request. Yamla (talk) 17:33, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I should be unblocked, as Donal McIntyre did have a show called Cheap As Chimps, which was stolen from Karl Pilkington. Awtsn (talk) 21:12, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You're only going to get one more chance to make an acceptable unblock request before losing access to this page. Please address the reason for the block and tell what you will edit about. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 23:13, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You are much more likely to be unblocked if you provide a reliable citation, one that meets WP:RS and WP:CITE, and convince the reviewing administrator that you won't add uncited content again. --Yamla (talk) 21:37, 10 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I should be unblocked because my edit of Donal McIntyre's page was not vandalism as he did once do a show called Cheap As Chimps in 2003. Furthermore, McIntyre stole the idea from Karl Pilkington whilst he was on the radio. As soon as Pilkington went on holiday McIntyre started the show. It was not vandalism, Cheap As Chimps did happen. Awtsn (talk) 21:30, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Well, that blows the aforementioned "one more chance to make an acceptable unblock request", so you can no longer edit this talkpage. Yunshui  23:23, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

If your next appeal is repeating that gag from The Ricky Gervais Show again, instead of a link to or citation of a source proving that McIntyre did a show actually titled "Cheap as Chimps" (and not "The Trade in Rare Mountain Gorillas"), your talk page access will be revoked and you're only proving that you're not here to help. Also, you're failing to explain edits like these, so you might be better off finding a completely different topic instead of digging this hole deeper.
