Hello Howard the Duck
Thanks for the message but I originally created and researched the article and this is how it should be. Obviously, the information you tried to add are erroneous. Redmanizer DOES NOT have any English origin. You obviously do not have a lot of knowledge about these two teams. PBA teams in the 70's and 80's, specially these two teams, were defined by Starting Fives and Team Captains. Obviously you are applying to conventional standards to these defunct teams which is inaccurate.
While I appreciate you trying to guide me through Wikipedias Mos. These are just guidelines. I believe the information held within is what is important.
I do not see anything wrong with my Style which I believe it closely follows the Mos guidelines without being disorganized. I also do not see anything wrong with the information in the article which is as nuetral, historical and informative as possible.
Please stop changin the article. Thanks.
- You say Please stop changin the article. When you submitted the article, did you read the bit in bold at the bottom of the page that says If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it.? Wikipedia is a collaborative medium, this means no-one owns any article. Pseudomonas 12:11, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Your changes does not enhance the information. You are even adding erroneous ones. I will allow added accurate information. Not information that would ruin the information and the article.
- My changes? What changes did I make that were erroneous? Pseudomonas 12:21, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- I think s/he was referring to me. --Howard the Duck 12:24, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- So ok, screw the etymology part.
- But what's the use of having the Manual of Style if you'll won't use it? Would it be useless? Or should we follow it. Check these featured articles, the best articles in Wikipedia, they ALL follow the the Manual of style. Bad articles usually don't follow the manual of style. In order for an article to be good, we should follow the MOS.
- But please answer this: Did the Chicago Bulls page, probably the greatest club team in history, outline their starting five in the "Players of Note" section (take note that "Players of Note" is wrong under the MOS haha.) Then you can convince me that the "Team Roster" page you so dearly love won't be edited. And please, don't go around in circles, go direct to the point. Even Michael Jordan isn't listed in the "Basketball Hall of Famers" (that is correct, BTW, since it's a proper noun) section, although he is noted at the bottom. Also, another policy you'll find handy: WP:OWN. Thanks and happy editing. --Howard the Duck 12:19, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Recently you'd added this "<!--Toyota,Crispa and Utex were defined by a core starting 5 and Team Captain. Do not rearrange this Roster -->". Although I'll leave thenm that way, you should still answer the question: Did the Chicago Bulls page, probably the greatest club team in history, outline their starting five in the "Players of Note" section? If you don't asnwer, I'll bring this to arbitration. Thanks. --Howard the Duck 12:31, 1 August 2006 (UTC)
Team rosters
[edit]Instead of reverting back and forth, why not give me a list of Toyota's, Crispa's and U-Tex's final team rosters before they'll folded up? Include their numbers, positions and colleges. Then I'll create a template. --Howard the Duck 15:26, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Userbox...
[edit]I thought you may like to use a PBA userbox. They're at Wikipedia:Userboxes/Philippine Basketball Association. You are welcome to edit them however you want. The MOS doesn't apply on templates, but keep it short so as not to stretch the page. --Howard the Duck 12:25, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
Please wikify your articles so they will link into other articles. Also add categories (such as Category:Filipino basketball players, Category:Living people and the like. Thanks. --Howard the Duck 03:58, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
IN eegards to your comments to my page
[edit]First of issue is you need to clearly read WP:CIVIL before posting to anothers user page. Second I am in fact TheRanger and only TheRanger not RexNL or whoever else you claim me to be. I was unable to find the article you are speaking of as you did not include the name or a link to the change that you speak of. However, from the way your comments read I would assume that my changes were made on a recent vandlism patrol of recent changes and if you style is the same in editing as comments you a edit that blanked a large portion of text with out a edit summary, if that was the case your edit looked like vandalism and was reverted for those reasons. Thanks for you attemp to inprove the base of wikipedia however please use the edit summary when doing so as others will then know that you are working to fix and not creat vandalism when doing so. Also please sign you comments when leaving them on another users talk page. TheRanger 21:51, 4 December 2006 (UTC)

Copyright
[edit]You say that the Florencio article was posted here with the authorization of Jay Mercado?
Well, here's the thing. We can't just take your word for it. Most of the time, people tell the truth about that, but sometimes they don't. So we can't allow it, unless you can get Jay Mercado to edit his original post to the forum, so that it says "I, Jay Mercado, release this text under the terms of the GFDL". Then it'll be okay. Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello AyingTorrs! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot notifying you on behalf of the the unreferenced biographies team that 1 of the articles that you created is currently tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. Here is the article:

Speedy deletion nomination of Danny Florencio
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Danny Florencio, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:30, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
The article Rey Lazaro has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Cahk (talk) 08:27, 13 February 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Rey Lazaro, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Stylez995 (talk) 08:45, 13 February 2018 (UTC)
