The article List of Canadian provinces and territories by population density has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This article is an unnecessary split from List of Canadian provinces and territories by population, which is tiny in and of itself at <7,000 bytes. It comprises a map, two sentences, and four columns that are exact duplicates of the parent article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Comparable countries columns[edit]

Hello BBPowe, further to the above, please refrain from adding unencyclopedic trivia to Wikipedia articles such as comparable country information on articles presenting population, area and population density figures of certain geographies (e.g., Canadian provinces and territories). For rationale, please read Talk:List of U.S. states and territories by area#Comparable countries take two. Hwy43 (talk) 03:25, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Strength of schedule/strength of victory[edit]

First I'd like to thank you for your recent work on AAF–related articles. I've never heard of the SOS and SOV stats; I just want to clear up what exactly they mean so that if I have to update the standings template, I can do it correctly.

Your added explanation of those stats is "combined winning percentage of all teams played/beaten"; does this mean that you add the opponents' winning percentages or average them? Thanks for your help. PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 22:38, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The "strength of" stats are calculated by averaging the opponents' winning percentages. For example, if a 2–0 team had beaten two teams that are 1–1 and 0–2, then their combined record is 1–3 (pct is 0.250), and the strength of victory for the 2–0 team is 0.250. BBPowe (talk) 23:01, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. These stats are often used when breaking ties, and I included them for that purpose. See also NFL playoffs#Breaking ties and Strength of schedule#Computation. BBPowe (talk) 23:04, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@BBPowe: Thank you for including the stats and thanks for the explanation! PCN02WPS (talk | contribs) 23:10, 10 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 7[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Triple (baseball), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fly ball. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
