Vandalism.[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Bill_Richardson. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. . -- Jeandré, 2008-03-28t11:44z

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Bob Kelso, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Copyright problems[edit]

Hello. Concerning your contribution, Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg, please note that Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images obtained from other web sites or printed material, without the permission of the author(s). This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.exposay.com/zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards---arrivals/p/3397/1/?f=Zach+Braff. As a copyright violation, Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg appears to qualify for deletion under the speedy deletion criteria. Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg has been tagged for deletion, and may have been deleted by the time you see this message.

If you believe that the article or image is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at [[Talk:Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg]] and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at [[Talk:Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg]] with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on [[Talk:Image:Zach-braff-2006-mtv-movie-awards-arrivals-8Y5S9Y.jpg]].

However, for textual content, you may simply consider rewriting the content in your own words. Thank you. Baba's camel (talk) 22:53, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:V.Tim Kaine.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:V.Tim Kaine.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:06, 4 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Baba's camel (talk) 23:06, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading Image:V.Tim Kaine.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Baba's camel (talk) 23:06, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August 2008[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Rotten Tomatoes, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Baba's camel (talk) 21:26, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing, such as the edit you made to Scrubs (TV series). If your vandalism continues, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. 62.164.246.11 (talk) 16:09, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free images[edit]

Please review the policy on image use. In order for images to be used in articles, particularly those which are or may be non-free, there a certain procedures to follow concerning the image source, copyright status, fair use rationale, and so on. Simply uploading and hoping for the best won't stop your images from being removed from articles, and eventually being deleted. Cheers. Baba's camel (talk) 21:40, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Scrubs (TV series). Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. -- Scjessey (talk) 21:42, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. Toddst1 (talk) 21:53, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
