Your draft article, Draft:Hrvoje Spajić

[edit]

Hello Champollion. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Hrvoje Spajić".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Draft:Hrvoje Spajić}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 23:50, 26 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Waffen-SS shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:44, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop re-adding this material, which is poorly worded in low-quality practically unintelligible English. I paraphrased your addition and moved it a little lower in the lead, so it's redundant now as well. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 19:49, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Military ranks in ancient Mesopotamia

[edit]

Hello Champollion,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Military ranks in ancient Mesopotamia for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

I can see that you are a new editor, but you need to know that Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article Military ranks in ancient Mesopotamia. The material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. Information icon Hello, I'm Aranya. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Hurrem Sultan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Aranya (talk) 13:34, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright problem icon Several of your recent additions have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. • Hello Champillion, as already mentioned above, please do not copypaste content from external sources into Wikipedia. Just because a book or a preview is visible in Google Books does not make the content freely available. It is usually still copyrighted and cannot be re-published without the author's explicit permission. All of your contributions should be phrased in your own words (aside from brief, clearly attributed quotations in quote marks). If you have a question about copyright, please feel free to ask at WP:Teahouse, but do not add any further similar edits that have been copypasted from external sources. If you believe a source may be Public Domain, please ask first to avoid further problems. Thank you for your consideration. GermanJoe (talk) 23:29, 10 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Primeval Mound moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Primeval Mound, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article VP: Magazin za voju povijest has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

poorly sourced article about non-notable publication, fails WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
