Information icon Hello, I'm Creffett. I wanted to let you know that one or more external links you added have been removed because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. creffett (talk) 12:55, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Chong Regan/sandbox, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  creffett (talk) 12:56, 8 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have finished editing the article by removing disputable parts thereof, hoping to meet the notability criteria. If you still find any part of the article inappropriate, please let me know, and I shall try my best to improve it. Inevitably, the article has to be short, because it is just about a Website. Still, I believe that the Website, created in 2004, is notable, because the Website is criticized by the Chinese government and the Hong Kong government, and has media coverage from the very beginning, not to mention that the Website is unique in Hong Kong (for all I know, the Website has no counterpart in Hong Kong over the past 14 years, because of the government's suppression on freedom of expression about Hong Kong independence movement -- the political taboo in Hong Kong nowadays).Chong Regan (talk) 02:08, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Please help with two questions. First, is the "speedy deletion nommination" previously put on the article I wrote in Sandbox canceled/removed? I ask this question, because, previously a yellow tag of speedy deletion nomination is placed by your editor colleague in my Sandbox, but now the tag disappears. In fact, I revised the article many times yesterday, hoping to meet the notability criteria of Wikipedia. Second, if your answer to the first question is "yes," my second question will be: how can I re-submit the article in Sandbox for review/publication?

Helped. (a) Yes, speedy declined yesterday by Athaenara. (b) I have submitted your sandbox to AFC on your behalf.
If you have any questions, you are always welcome to ask me on my talk page. Alternatively, you can ask your question at the Teahouse, or join Wikipedia's Live Help IRC channel to get real-time assistance. Happy editing, Sam Sailor 14:42, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Chong Regan and Sam Sailor: I declined it because I saw the text as neither blatantly promotional nor misuse of Wikipedia as a web host. I additionally recommended the miscellany for deletion process if the tagger wished to pursue it further (diff). – Athaenara 17:02, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Hong Konger Front, from its old location at User:Chong Regan/sandbox. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. Sam Sailor 14:43, 9 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
