Orphaned non-free image File:DCW50 News Logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:DCW50 News Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:10, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
- Want to explain this one a bit more thoroughly since I see you added it back (I removed it). We used to have, as you might be aware judging by how long you've been on the encyclopedia, a lot of news open stills for TV stations. Unfortunately, these don't qualify under our non-free content criteria as a valid use. We have the actual logo in the infobox, and that open is no longer in use. Draft:Miles Routledge
[edit]just as an fyi, the Miles Routledge page may be recreated soon, and you seem to have done most of the work on the current draft. Is there a reason why some stuff from the old article is missing? And is there a better citation for the IVF/birth section than just the general NHS guidelines? Just trying to make sure it won't get deleted again over BLP stuff. --jonas (talk) 22:43, 3 April 2023 (UTC)
- I got that info from messaging back and forth with him. I hadn’t intended on submitting it as done yet, the other guy did. The info from the other page needs to be carried over, I just didn’t get the chance yet. It was in those same conversations with him I obtained the school info and the hospital he was born at, in addition to him working at the salon. Luckily I was able to find the archived salon site with an old photo of him on it verifying his claims. Chrisisreed (talk) 23:01, 3 April 2023 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Silver Springs (attraction) into Draft:ABC Scenic and Wildlife Attractions. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination.
