Regarding your recent report to AIV - Can you provide me with diffs of specific vandalism that you accuse this user of (Types of vandalism / What vandalism is not for reference )?

Additionally - I would suggest that it might be worth re-wording the userbox on this talkpage. I'm afraid a big yellow box at the top proclaiming that 'This user doesn't give a fuck about your opinion' is not very conducive to discussion, or the collaborative editing environment that is Wikipedia. SQLQuery me! 07:02, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Please see wp:fuck the box is theirs not mine I copied and pasted so it is allowed --27.2.209.144 (talk) 08:47, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Except that you added "doesn't give a fuck about your opinion", yes. Please consider re-wording this. SQLQuery me! 08:53, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

This is allowed so i will keep it now lets go back to talking about starcade --Christianandjericho (talk) 08:55, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

That user is being discussed at WP:ANI - we were talking about your borderline-disruptive userbox here, as well as the WP:AIV report that I requested additional evidence regarding. SQLQuery me! 08:57, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Another user has had this user box for awhile with nobody saying anything http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:4twenty42o --Christianandjericho (talk) 09:01, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

We aren't discussing other users here - I was asking you politely to consider changing yours. I understand if the answer is 'no' - however my request stands. SQLQuery me! 09:03, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

What about "This user does not give a fuck about you" --Christianandjericho (talk) 09:04, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I was only asking that you please change it to something that does not appear to indicate that you are unwilling to communicate with other editors. If you feel the above is appropriate, go for it. SQLQuery me! 09:46, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Thanks everybody else was like changing it till i contacted an admin it is only meant to be humorous --Christianandjericho (talk) 09:50, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism , such as the edit at User talk:Starcade, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia guidelines. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. - SudoGhost 07:02, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Starcade issue

Calm down Christanandjericho all your doing is make him more mad and that is not helping the with the issue at hand take a step back and take a breath theres no need to get all worked up.--Dcheagle 09:00, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Umm he told me to "go to hell"...--Christianandjericho (talk) 09:02, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

He's just trying to piss people off, doesnt mean you should add more fuel to the fire--Dcheagle 09:07, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Can't you just ban him? he obviously a disruptive editor --Christianandjericho (talk) 09:08, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

I dont have the power to ban him as im not an admin the issue is being taken up at WP:ANI fill free to contribute there--Dcheagle 09:15, 25 July 2011 (UTC)
Neither do admins. We can only block - Only the community may ban, and WP:ANI is the appropriate venue for that. SQLQuery me! 09:47, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Ok can you block him? --Christianandjericho (talk) 10:17, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

User: Starcade

I reported User: Starcade talk page edits to the blocking admin today, please don't remove them till the blocking admin has seen the edits. (Ruth-2013 (talk) 05:21, 26 July 2011 (UTC))

Unblock PLEASE

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am innocent I just recently got this IP about two-three days ago, then today I was fooling around on the sandbox when a user used the IP that we're sharing and made an account with it. It was a coincident that the IP made a user name at the same time that I was talking about the subject (maybe he/she looked at what I was doing) Christianandjericho (talk) 09:50, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason:

You're not blocked directly - you will need to follow the directions provided when you edit if there is an underlying IP block (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 10:44, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What directions do I follow? Christianandjericho (talk) 11:07, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

When you try to edit a page (such as this one, you will see a notification if you're blocked - it will tell you exactly which unblock request to use, and how to do it. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:14, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

Decline reason: Far from lifting the block, I have blocked your account directly for 24 hours for vandalism. While generally speaking people can put pretty well anything in the sandbox, what you did was unacceptable. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:36, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

I was about to say the same thing - totally unacceptable test edits for any reason whatsoever. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:38, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

There hasn't been enough recent activity on that article to justify protection at this time. I'll put it on my watchlist and if it gets too out of hand, I may request protection at that time.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 11:41, 24 August 2011 (UTC)

The Corre

Please take a look again at The Corre (professional wrestling). I have updated the article's prose and references to include reliable secondary sources so that the article is notable enough. Would you reconsider your decision regarding the article's deletion? --Starship.paint (talk) 10:15, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

Could you state your opinions on why you still want to delete/redirect/merge the article? You only said "Redirect to Wade Barrett as he is the most notable of the group" Starship.paint (talk) 14:18, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

Answer

Why does Wade Barrett's article says end of days, the same as The Corre, but Barretts theme is by somebody else? --ChristianandJericho (talk) 11:14, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

Barrett's version is a remix of the original, Jim Johnston remixed it. Starship.paint (talk) 13:25, 4 September 2011 (UTC)

AIV report

Hi. I just declined your report at WP:AIV on an IP editor, for 2 reasons. The first is that the editor didn't edit again after being given a final warning; since blocks are only designed to prevent further disruption, not punish previous bad behavior, there's no reason to block if the vandalism has stopped. Second, the IP's last edit was 2 days ago. Most IP addresses are "dynamic"; this means that they are semi-randomly re-assigned by people's ISPs, sometimes every few days, sometimes every time the person reconnects to the internet. As such, we only block IP addresses when the vandalism is very current (like, the last few hours), or there is strong evidence that the IP is "static" and it's the same person vandalizing over and over again (or it's a public IP like at a school that is regularly used for vandalism). None of that applies to this IP address, so we wouldn't block now, because it's highly likely that the next person to use that address won't be the same human who made the vandalizing edits in the first place.

I hope this helps you understand a little more for future cases where you may be considering WP:AIV reports. Let me know if you have any questions. Qwyrxian (talk) 08:06, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

RfA nominations

HI ChristianandJericho. Any registered user, especially established editors in good standing, can nominate a candidate for adminship. Before proposing a candidate, or requesting a nomination by another editor, it`s worth ensuring that you and your candidate have read WP:RFAADVICE, and that your candidate is happy to be nominated. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 10:33, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

He might have contacted Worm just because Worm is #1 in the list of "Editors willing to be asked to nominate a user". Which is only a slight mis-reading, and it's good news that knowledge of that page is spreading around. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Something you might like to read

Apologies if you've been given this link already, and feel free to file it under the list of things you DGAF about, but you may find it useful to read Wikipedia:Guidance for younger editors. Thanks. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 11:02, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I've never been given that link, however I read most of wikipedia's policy so that is nothing new --ChristianandJericho (talk) 12:49, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

I moved the article back to this title for two reasons: 1) There is an ongoing AFD, and 2) there was no consensus for the move. Moving wrestling articles tend to be somewhat controversial, so it's best if a request for a page move is made here.   ArcAngel   (talk) ) 15:00, 10 September 2011 (UTC)

Copy-paste moves

I see that you recently posted to another editor's talk page saying "Please do not move the page through copy and paste until it is approved". I don't know anything about the subject of the particular article in question, and I have no opinion as to whether the article should be moved. However, I thought it worth letting you know that copy-and-paste is not the right way to do the move anyway, whether or not there is consensus. The trouble with copying content from one article to another is that it loses the editing history, which must be kept for several reasons, including the need for copyright attribution of edits to the editors who made them. Normally the proper way to move or rename a page is by using the "Move" link near the top of the page. Sometimes this is not possible, most commonly because there is already a page with the title you want to move it to. In that case, on the top of the page with the name you want to use, you should put {{db-move|1=old title of the page|2=a brief statement of the reason for the move}}. This will ask for an administrator to delete the old page so that the new one can be moved. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:27, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Juan Cena

I've declined your speedy request, as it didn't have an appropriate category. Nonsense in the CSD sense is things like 'ytrxuyy8oui hgtytc' (when you are sure that this isn't a mountain dialect of Strobovian) or 'fish the cat aardvark petticoat'. Apart from which, it is a valid redirect, as John Cena is listed as having wrestled as 'Juan Cena'. (Personally, I'd never heard of him. I just did a 'find' in the target article. Only takes a moment to do, and saves a lot of time.) A tip - if not sure whether some apparent gibberish is really gibberish or just Foreign, drop an interesting looking bit of it into Google search and see if it comes up with the words. You can then tag it 'translate' (possibly even with the correct language if you find the words in a site with a national domain code - looks impressive). Peridon (talk) 11:42, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

BTW I don't adopt as such, but am usually willing to answer sensible questions (or pass the buck to someone who knows more about something than I do). I find I learn quite a lot by doing this. (I once took over as instructor of a class when the real instructor very suddenly emigrated. I learned far more when he'd gone and I was running the thing.) A tip is to shadow the talk pages of some people who interest you, and see if their answers match what you'd worked out. Watch places like WP:AIV, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Candidates_for_speedy_deletion and AfD - compare your decisions with the results. Peridon (talk) 11:54, 12 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson)

Hello ChristianandJericho. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Annabeth Chase (Percy Jackson), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: this is a fictional character, and A7 applies only to real people. You could consider AfD but, though there seems to be a lot of plot summary, the number of references suggests that a case for notability could probably be made. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 14:33, 13 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: WiZaRd (album)

Hello ChristianandJericho. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of WiZaRd (album), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: A7 does not apply to albums. As an unreleased album, I doubt if this meets WP:NALBUMS, but you will have to use PROD of AfD. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 10:23, 15 September 2011 (UTC)

Warning templates

Careful about where you put warning templates--you put an NPA warning on an article's talk page in this edit; that warning should go on the user's page. Qwyrxian (talk) 00:07, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Burrn!

Don't you think this nomination is, to put it politely, a liitle over-hasty? I created that (stub) article barely ten minutes ago and you're already nominating it for deletion? Colonies Chris (talk) 09:27, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

It is not reasonable to nominate a new article by an experienced editor for deletion after only 10 minutes. You are wasting my time and your own. I will look into your previous behaviour. If this is a usual pattern of behaviour on your part, I will consider taking the matter to ANI. Colonies Chris (talk) 09:41, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

September 2011

Hi ChristianandJericho. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Burrn!, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. Magazines are not applicable to the A7 criteria for speedy deletion. Cind.amuse (Cindy) 10:41, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi ChristianandJericho. I don't think this is a subject suitable for speedy deletion, as I explained here; the article's creator provided his/her explanation here. Feel free to nominate the article at AfD if you disagree. Thanks for your understanding. --Vejvančický (talk | contribs) 17:17, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Cultural adaptation

Hello ChristianandJericho. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Cultural adaptation, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: WP:CSD#A1 is for "very short" articles only. Thank you. JohnCD (talk) 17:40, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

When I read this I thought it needed to be called Transcreation, and it turned out the author would have liked to but that title was already in use as a redirect. So I have renamed it and (with apologies for hijacking your AfD) renamed that too, fixing (I hope) all the links so that nothing is lost or confused. If you had watchlisted the old title and AfD you may need to watchlist the new ones. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 19:05, 16 September 2011 (UTC)

AfD nominations

Please go over the deletion policy and WP:BEFORE before nominating any article for deletion. "I've never heard of it" and "I don't understand it" are not valid reasons for deletion, as you said to justify deletion of Tadashi Tomori and Transcreation, respectively.

The AfD of Tadashi Tomori doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell of ending with deletion. Please consider withdrawing this nomination as well. —KuyaBriBriTalk 03:22, 17 September 2011 (UTC)

You appear to be making a large number of requests for deletion that are inappropriate. This activity is disruptive. Please refrain from making further deletion requests using CSD, PROD or AFD - instead, please read all the relevant policies relating to discussion. I think you are misunderstanding what WP:DGAF is about. DGAF is not about an excuse to ignore others opinions or treat others with disrespect. DGAF actually has nothing to do with other people. DGAF has to do with you. It's about having enough detachment from what you are doing that you do not get upset when things do not go as you intended. Instead of you saying "I dont give a fuck what you say", it's more like "I don't really give a fuck, do what you want to do." You see?--v/r - TP 15:05, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
