Help me!

[edit]

Please help me with... Cmcmill (talk) 04:54, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Could you kindly explain your query in detail? Thank You. Kpddg (talk) 05:03, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm guessing that you want help with the sandbox draft you have at User:Cmcmill/sandbox. First, writing about yourself on Wikipedia is strongly discouraged. Be sure to read the advice at autobiography.
Right now, your draft has zero references, so it's completely unsuited to being an encyclopedia article. If you decide you still want to pursue this after reading the above advice, you must supply published references; essentially every statement you make in the draft must have a footnote/citation. Things that you know about yourself, but don't have a published source for, will simply have to be omitted.
Also, until you have a published article, it is not time to insert yourself in the 'notable alumni' list at South Oak Cliff High School. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:19, 11 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Request reason:

Hello, My username is Cmcmill and I would like to appeal the block on my account. My reason for being blocked is because I am a beginner in Wikipedia and I did not know how to submit citations correctly. After my account had been blocked after submitting it incorrectly multiple times, I asked my sister(Laflines8) to create an account and help me to submit. We found out that I had not been creating my citations correctly. I only want to add my contributions to my alma mater, South Oak Cliff High School. Her sandbox link with the correct citations are: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Laflines8/sandbox&redirect=no

Decline reason:

You are blocked for promoting yourself, or at least someone close to you, but have not addressed this. Yamla (talk) 20:56, 24 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
