How does good ref list work?

[edit]

can you help this comments qte Comment: I'm not going to review the article. I try not to review articles twice. But please consider how a reader will look at:

CNN NEWS 3 SPOKANE JOURNAL4 NW WIND POWER5 SABAH EKONOMI 6 CITY AM NEWS 7 AVRUPA POSTASI8 Hurriyet Daily News9 PR NEWS WIRE 10 This one has to go"" IRAQ Business News 11 EIN NEWS 12 Turkish News 13 CIHAN NEWS 14 maktoob news [15] Bloomberg news 16 FIFA news 17 FORBES 18 E-MANISA NEWS POERTAL19 business.reachlocal[20] turkish manufacturers[21] The list is impenetrable. Please turn it, IF the references are any good, into something readable. Look directly above it. It should look like that. And 100% of the references must be significant independent coverage about AKSA Power Generation from WP:RS

I think you could probably do with some help to do this. Try deploying Help me on your own talk page, link to this article and ask for help in turning the list into good references. Someone will come along and help you surprisingly fast. Costurk (talk) 12:08, 11 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Costurk, the reviewers are saying two things. One is: you need references that are actually talking about AKSA Power Generation, and that are not press releases. That is what the latest review means by "This one has to go". The other is: instead of naming the publication or website and then adding a URL inside square brackets, each reference needs to give the title that appears on the page; the author if there is any; and the date, as well as the publication or website. And preferably the URL should be a link on the title. This can be done using citation templates, or you can just type it out, but either way, the last reviewer points out that references 1-6 have been done; the others should look similar. Use the code in edit mode to make the others look like that, but you will need to add the information that you have left out - date, etc. Is that clearer now? thanks Yngvadottir , I rearrange the all ref list as per your recommendations Costurk (talk) 08:19, 13 June 2014 (UTC) costurk[reply]

I have tried my best to re-write your article and think the company is important enough to appear on Wikipedia. However, AKSA Energy seems to be a different company from AKSA Power Generation, so I have removed news articles that are about AKSA Energy. In future, please be clear which company you are writing about. Sionk (talk) 11:14, 9 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
