Your GA nomination of Butterflies (Michael Jackson song)
[edit]The article Butterflies (Michael Jackson song) you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are many changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within two weeks, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. TbhotchTalk C. 03:48, 20 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]This edit did quite a bit more than its noted "separated TV movies from theatrical films in the filmography table." In fact, you completely reverted my edit to the filmography table that 1) added in the new templates for filmographies mark-up and 2) returned a mushed up table that slaps all the tables together, also deprecated. The headings you restored are deprecated in favor of the heading templates. It also returned "year in film" mark-up, which is also no longer used and reestablished redundant disambiguation for a repeating role. As for the television films, they are films, nonetheless (except The Christmas Path and Monkey Business, which appear to be regular films), and that they were broadcast on television was already included for two of the films by stating they were for Disney channel, a noted television network. It also reinstated unnecessary parentheses around television program episode names. There's no good reason for sticking those in parentheses when they are clearly marked "Episode:", which shouldn't be followed by a note in parentheses. I am restoring the updated mark up to the tables. Please don't revert it, as it is actually updating the tables to what is now standard. Wildhartlivie (talk) 14:17, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Hey. I fixed the columns on the Notes/References/Bibliography to work in all browsers, there's no need to change it again. I noticed that you put in a line of code that only worked with Firefox. Just letting you know. Anyways. Tamer of hope (talk) 04:38, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

[edit]How are you my wonderful editor? How are things going on with you? I just came across the splitting of the Michael Jackson album discography article and surprised that such a worthless pile load of shit is even created! And that too on vote?? I was really disappointed to see that. What are your thoughts on that? --Legolas (talk2me) 05:45, 29 June 2010 (UTC)
- OMG Legolas2186 we haven't talked in so long, how have you been?! For me, things have been the same; in the first week of July I'm going to the Disneyland in CA for about two weeks with a friend and some family. Regarding the MJ discography page, I was also really disappointed in the page being split, I honestly thought that the page, which was only 50kgs long, was better off the way it was before it was spilt. Regards, Crystal Clear x3 00:27, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Crystal babes, thanks for the barnstar! And wow at ya going to Disneyland, lucky you. I'm just working and working. No breaks for me now. The MJ album pages are a real mess now, User:Simone Jackson seems quite adamant about it and doesnot seem very approachable. Oh well, lets hope for the best. The WP:MJJ project is going so strong! 63 GAs! wow. All because of you :P --Legolas (talk2me) 05:39, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- Hey Legolas, and your welcome for the barnstar : ). About the MJ discography page, its in crappy shape now, and when I was trying to convince SJ not to spilt the page it was like talking to a wall lol. Hopefully other editors will be able to convince SJ that the page should not be spilt. And thanks for the compliment on my work for the MJ Wikiproject, but I haven't contributed to all of the GAs, just 29, Realist and Pyrrhus16 contributed to the rest. The Madonna Wikiproject is also really strong too with 47 GAs and 2 FAs, and its all because of you. Regards, Crystal Clear x3 03:35, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the compliment. Good that you got Pyrrhus and Realist. For me, its like being one-man army :(. Anyways, I was thinking why not start promoting "Empire State of Mind" for FA? Its in wonderful condition and you did a freaking insane job in it! You should start pushing it for FA. :) --Legolas (talk2me) 10:22, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
- Well as of recently Realist and Pyrrhus16 haven't been editing on Wikipedia like they use to : (. It must kinda suck to have to run the Madonna Wikiproject by yourself and be the sole contributer to her articles, so maybe after I come back from my vacation I could help you improve some of her articles and we could work together to bring a few of her song article's to GA status : )? And thanks for the compliments on the "Empire State of Mind" article, I do plan to nominate it for FA, but I'm going to send it through peer review first. Crystal Clear x3 07:01, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
- I would love your help on the Madonna articles. Would really appreciate someone's help atleast. I just came to know that even User:Bookkeeperoftheoccult has also left, so that means that the Janet articles are screwed. Add that Petergriffin user running around deflating everybody's sales other than Mariah's, its time to be super careful. Also, you "should" send the ESOM article for PR first, just check the recent FA song articles like "4 Minutes" and see what kinda changes they went through, and then, just leave it to the Wiki FAC Gods! LOL --Legolas (talk2me) 07:10, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Transformers Source issues; I are overwhelmed
[edit]So I'm a little at a loss for how to approach this problem with the TFW citations in the Transformers film articles. I just took a quick look after my (perhaps useless) efforts on the Transformers 3 page and the first two films are littered with refs from that website as well as a related blogspot blog. Some of them look like they may not be problems; there were several refs that were actually interviews with various members of the crew. But three articles riddled with these things; yeah I'm a little lost on what to do about it. Millahnna (mouse)talk 23:58, 23 July 2010 (UTC)

Hello!
[edit]Hello, I was checking out Never Let Me Go (2010 film) since I was told about it, and I was impressed by the state of the film article. I saw in the revision statistics that you were responsible for this well-developed article. (Did you take the "Cast" formatting from Black Swan (film)? 'Cause that's okay if you did!) I am wondering if you plan to nominate the article for Good Article status. I've only skimmed it, but it looks well-structured, well-balanced, and well-referenced. I am also wondering, has no one invited you to WikiProject Films yet? I think you would be a fantastic participant in the community. If you're interested, you can sign up here and find a lot of discussions going on here. Happy editing! :) Erik (talk | contribs) 21:54, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi there!
[edit]Hey there :) So I noticed you are a Michael and Mariah fan. Same here. So I've been transforming Carey's stuff to GA and have a position for you. Since you have also written a lot of GAs, what would you say to splitting "I'll Be There" as a GA, with you doing the Jackson 5 part and me the Mariah part? Daniel Radcliffe
[edit]I notice you have added Daniel Radcliffe's article for GA nom. I reviewed the article the last time it was nominated and pointed out where its downfalls were on the discussion page. I am not planning to review the article again but after briefly reading the intro there are various grammatical errors. I would make sure that you either proof read the article yourself or ask someone else to do it. I may be available within the next few days if you like but dont have time at the moment and would be more than happy to lend a hand to get his article to GA class. I would also point out at the moment that the awards section is still completely unsourced. If you have any other questions about the article or where to improve it give me a message. - I would love for you to re-review it! I'm not sure why there would be any problem with doing a second review for the article. Crystal Clear x3 23:16, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
Oops, I already took on the review process. Hope you don't mind, ;) I'll read it more thoroughly this weekend, but I believe the article is in very good shape for GA this time. I trimmed down the lead because I think the leads for young actors would benefit from a more succinct and clinical style; a flashy style sometimes undermines the articles' credibility. It is wiser to provide a short summary with their most notable work and let their work speak for themselves. As for the personal life section, it's hard to take any BLP seriously when it's riddled with trivial fan facts, right? I did a quick scan this time; it seems much more focused now. Cheers. --Artoasis (talk) 16:46, 2 June 2011 (UTC)
- It's okay =). Thank you for taking on the GA review and helping the article out. I agree about the trivia in the PL section. I did my best to try to keep the PL section interesting while not overdone.
- Its cool Artoasis, would probably not have been for the best if i reviewed it for the second time in a row anyway. You both have done excellent work on the article and it is in much better shape than it was the last time around. Monkeymanman (talk) 23:02, 2 June 2011 (UTC)

Have you ever ...
[edit]... thought about proposing "Empire State of Mind" to FA? I guess it has enough information and and good style. There are some refs that consist in bare urls, but this is a minor problem. I'm currently translating it to Spanish and, by the way, I finished translating Dirty Diana to my home wiki two or three days ago. Greetings, мιѕѕ мαηzαηα (talk) 00:48, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hello there! Thanks for asking. You're actually the second person to ask me that =). I've been fixing up the article and, after a peer-review, hope to nominate it for FAC. Crystal Clear x3 06:46, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

Hi Crystal Clear x3! I have just reviewed your article on Rupert Grint, so take a look! Queenieacoustic (talk) 12:07, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, congrats on the GA pass. Sorry about the late reply. My (very demanding) summer intern has started this month which left me very little time for everything else. Guess I'm the so-called "semi-retired" wikipedian now, :p. --Artoasis (talk) 17:10, 21 June 2011 (UTC)
- No problem =). Good luck with your intern and I hope you have a great summer! Crystal Clear x3 08:58, 23 June 2011 (UTC)
Jennifer Connelly
[edit]Hi, you recently made some comments on Jennifer Connelly's FAC. We have tried to assess your concerns and it would be helpful if you could revisit the article again and either support or oppose the promotion to FA. Many thanks for your initial comments and your time.--GDuwenTell me! 02:30, 19 June 2011 (UTC)

Reviewing GAN "Never Let Me Go"
[edit]Hello again Crystal, I'm just popping in some text to say that I've reviewed your GAN and have suggested a few changes before it can get to GA and good job on the article (to all other editors too), it's very well written! Thanks. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 00:42, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
- It does turn out however that leads do require citations if information can be doubted: Wikipedia:Lead#Citations, but never mind, there's nothing too preposterous in the start anyway so, no harm at all. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 02:55, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
Awards
[edit]Hey there, I've just been really disappointed to find that you've already created the article List of accolades received by the Spider-Man franchise, because believe it or not: That's the article I had just begun working on! Heh, it doesn't matter much (I wasn't too far in), but since we're both working on the same specialized project (list of awards), how about we team up?, and I think it would be best if we told each other which articles we were working on, so that no work is wasted. It's a fantastic article, congrats. And hope to see more of you around in the future. . By the way, I plan to work on the Bourne series next. Toodles. That Ole Cheesy Dude (Talk to the hand!) 23:31, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
DYK for The Broken Tower (film)
[edit]On 27 June 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article The Broken Tower (film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the storyline of James Franco's upcoming film The Broken Tower started out as his master's thesis at New York University Tisch School of the Arts? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
