Hello. I think the article 2011 South Sudan national football team results should be by the decade, IMHO. Only important world cup level teams should have them by the year. I say this because teams of this level, not even FIFA recognized, only play a few games a year. So, there should be enough games in 10 years to have a good article. Otherwise it is just lists around 3 games. Also, having the year listed at the end of the title helps when searching.

My Suggestions:

  • Page Move to new title, South Sudan national football team results (2011-2019)

New football articles and name sort order

[edit]

I saw you created some Malaysian football articles. I have questions on the sort order of their names. "Normal" Malaysian names do not have a surname in the western sense. So, on Wikipedia they are sorted as is... example Syazwan Tajuddin would be sorted as Syazwan Tajuddin (This is how Burmese and Icelandic names are also sorted). The exception is Chinese names and I think See Kok Luen fits this. It would be sorted See, Kok Luen

I saw you added a sort order to the articles you created. I also see Soccerway lists a sort name. It looks like you deal in Malaysian names. What is your understanding of the sort order? Bgwhite (talk) 06:48, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, forgot. The WikiProject Biography banner does not have a "priority" parameter any more. For sports articles, use "sports-priority" Bgwhite (talk) 06:50, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Sabri Sahar has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Meet-up: Editors from Malaysia

[edit]

Hello! You might or might not have seen me around here as I've not been active in Wikipedia the past few months. Before leaving for NS, it was my intention to form a Malaysian user group. I'm still very much interested in forming the group. However, before forming the group, I would love to organize a meet-up between editors of the Malaysian editing community to test the waters and hear what you guys might have to say. To my knowledge, there has not been a Wikipedia meet-up in this country before. I don't mind organizing the meet-up but need to know if anyone is interested in joining the meet-up. So... please reply and let me know if you would be interested in joining a meet-up and your ideas/thoughts about a user group. Thank you.

Looking forward to hearing from you, Bejinhantalks 12:26, 15 December 2012 (UTC) (Message delivered by EdwardsBot (talk) 12:26, 15 December 2012 (UTC))[reply]
