References
[edit]Hello. I saw you made some significant contributions to the Ahmed Deedat-page, as well as on the Swoon hypothesis-article. I wonder, could you insert some references for your edits? WP needs valid sources/references for its articles, you see. Nevertheless, welcome!Jeff5102 (talk) 18:41, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:54, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
Proposed username change
[edit]I see that nobody has yet welcomed you to the project, so greetings, and thanks for joining. Your contributions thus far have been sterling; do keep up the good job! However, I am concerned that your username may not be quite appropriate for the collaborative community running the encyclopedia, and so I propose that, in accordance with Wikipedia's username policy, we file a request to have your username changed. Would you be agreeable to that course of action? Regards, AGK 18:39, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Islamic Foundation Villa Park, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.islamicfoundationvp.org/pages/Home/pageDetailPB.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 15:36, 17 September 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Sound Vision Foundation
[edit]A tag has been placed on Sound Vision Foundation, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion nomination of David J. Liepert
[edit]A tag has been placed on David J. Liepert requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Template:Qur'an 2:62
[edit]My apologies: it was only after I had merged three templates to Template:Qur'an 2:62 that I realised that they were different. Did you really think that different spacing was a sensible way of distinguishing different documents? What I suggest you do now is: a) obtain consensus at talk:English translations of the Quran that these templates are a useful addition to the article, b) if the answer is yes, create Template:Qur'an 2:62 (part 1), Template:Qur'an 2:62 (part 2) and Template:Qur'an 2:62 (part 3)? — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 10:13, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
- Well too late now. Can you do me a favor and delete Template:Qur'an 2:62 as well. I don't want to leave an untidy mess behind. Will work on this project again some other time. Dungbeetle (talk)
Why too late? Everything is still available via the edit history. I have moved it to User:Dungbeetle/sandbox for you to work on some other time. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:16, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Jerald F. Dirks
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Jerald F. Dirks requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Peridon (talk) 20:40, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

File source problem with File:Deedat photo.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Deedat photo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
