Re:Faroes qualifying for Euro 2008[edit]

Hey EBB!

The calculations you sent are all good; you just didn't take it far enough!. True, the only way that the Faroes have any chance is if 6 teams end up on 15 points, but to do that every remaining result has to go a certain way. Because every result has to go a certain way, it's possible to work out how the 6 level teams will rank against each other. I've added it up so that Faroes and Scots would get 12 points and the other four would get 15, so the Faroes could not qualify.

Now it's your turn to check if I've got it right!

Thanks! - Aheyfromhome 19:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

Denmark/Sweden women football teams at 2008 olympics[edit]

As far as I know, qualification is ran by the continental confederation like UEFA and CONCACAF. Until UEFA say that Sweden will not be the team, it should be stated that Sweden is in. Kingjeff 17:10, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Reply to Kim Jong Su revert[edit]

Hi! Sorry about the confusion, I think it's just standard practice, even though they did not officially win a medal, the infobox should contain that he/she was disqualified. See Ben Johnson (sprinter). - Nick C (talk) 14:47, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:ICCmemberstatesworldmap062010.png[edit]

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:ICCmemberstatesworldmap062010.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 20:15, 7 June 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:15, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Next German presidential election[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Next German presidential election has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:Crystal + OR

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Travelbird (talk) 09:10, 15 January 2011 (UTC)

ICC investigations and ICC indictees[edit]

Hello, I noticed that you created these two templates today: {{ICC investigations}} and {{ICC indictees}}. While I think it's a good idea to have all this information in one place for ease of editing, I have concerns with the use of the templates at List of people indicted by the International Criminal Court. For one, the abbreviations used in the table are not included in the template of investigations (and additionally, there would be no need for the abbreviations on other articles that don't use that template. Also, the links in the indictees template cause somewhat problematic. The words "twenty-three people" are in bold because the link is to the same page. Also the links to individual indictees causes an overlink problem in the article. I still think its a good idea to centralize all this information, but I don't know if this is the best way to do it. Instead of listing all this information in up to three different places (i.e. the ICC page, the indictees page, the investigation page), we should instead redirect readers to the most specific pages and leave the main ICC page for static, general information. – Zntrip 23:44, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi Zntrip! First of all, thanks for your changes to the "Amendments to the Rome Statute", they improved the article significantly. I do see the problems you mention but unfortunately I didn't see any better solution. It was just annoying to have outdated information in a couple of articles; if you have any better solution please don't hesitate to insert it. While I'm not fully sure your proposal will work perfectly, I'd say that you/we should try it (when I find some time ...). --EBB (talk) 15:04, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

I'd also like to thank you for all your contributions to ICC-related articles. Hopefully we can work on getting the articles up to date and organized. Of course, I have to find some free time as well... Regardless, I look forward to collaborating with you! – Zntrip 21:22, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Re:International Criminal Court/International Criminal Court investigations[edit]

It looks pretty good, however on the ICC page there are three tables in a row and it looks a bit cluttered. But I can't think of a better format, so I'll leave it for now. – Zntrip 00:38, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

2011–12 UEFA Champions League group stage[edit]

Hello,

I have reverted your recent edits to 2011–12 UEFA Champions League#Group stage as they consisted of speculative information. Usually, teams should not be added unless they have definitely qualified for a stage. However, you are invited to comment on the matter at WT:FOOTY#Conditional information given for group drawings. --Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 09:48, 6 August 2011 (UTC)

Re: ICC investigations[edit]

Thanks for the praise, but it was Pi who did virtually all the work single handedly. I just did some formatting and copy editing. I wasn't aware of Pi's Kenya article until last week. The article is quite good, and I am hoping we can at some point get an article for all of the ICC's situations (and get articles to link to them). Perhaps we three could start an ICC task force under the auspices of WikiProject International Law? – Zntrip 21:22, 18 August 2011 (UTC)

Just checking in, what do you think of the idea? – Zntrip 07:02, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi Zntrip! Sorry for not replying immediately. Although I have been active in the wikipedia since quite early (in de and en) my knowledge of the institutional structure that has developed in the meantime is not too big. So, while I'm willing to be a part of that task force I don't know exactly how to be. So, I'd be thankful if you could do the formal applications necessary :-). Anyway, sounds good. (On 5 September, I will be in The Hague and either the ICC or the ICTY to strengthen my spirit for that new task ;-)). Best regards. --EBB (talk) 08:09, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
The task force will be a way for us to coordinate our edits and plan out what improvements need to me made to which articles, as well as which articles need to be created. I'll take care of setting it up, so you needn't worry about any wikibureaucracy. Also, glad to hear that you'll be in The Hague! Maybe you can see some proceedings? The confirmation hearings for Ruto et al. are scheduled to be held that day. – Zntrip 16:22, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for bearing the wikibureaucracy proceedings ... I know about the Ruto et al. proceedings (and the Bemba trial earlier that day) but I assume that on the same day (and at the same time, unfortunately) Karadžić proceedings before the ICTY will take place as well. So I'll have to decide. And as I had seen the first appearance of Muthaura et al. in April, I've already got a glance of the Kenya proceedings ... --EBB (talk) 17:09, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Sounds exciting! Let me know which one you go to! – Zntrip 07:52, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

The International Criminal Court Barnstar of National Merit[edit]

BoNM - International Criminal Court Hires.png The International Criminal Court Barnstar of National Merit
I, Zntrip, hereby award EBB the International Criminal Court Barnstar of National Merit for his tireless and quality work in creating, improving, and updating countless articles and templates, including Agreements on the Enforcement of Sentences with the International Criminal Court, Amendments to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, ICC judges election, 2011, and {{ICC investigations (more detailed)}}. – Zntrip 06:48, 19 August 2011 (UTC)

Proposed WikiProject International criminal law[edit]

Just to keep you up to date, I tried reaching out to some WikiProjects, but there were no takers for the idea of an international criminal law task force. This means a separate WikiProject will probably be set up once all the preparatory measures are taken. In the meantime Pi has volunteered his userspace page, User talk:Pi/UserProject ICC, were I have posted a list of articles that would fall under the scope of the project (including articles that need to be created). Feel free to take a look and add or remove anything. – Zntrip 21:27, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Olga Venecia Herrera Carbuccia[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Olga Venecia Herrera Carbuccia has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Vrenator talk 10:56, 16 December 2011 (UTC)

Contiguous regions in Google Maps[edit]

Hello, EBB.

2026 FIFA World Cup[edit]

I recently got the 2026 FIFA World Cup page up and running and noticed that you have a page of your own that looks into the bidding. I have the page structured now that I only input bids that have already been officially announced (someone else put in Columbia, am considering deleting that part). I figured since you seem interested in the subject that I'd let you know. Leoberacai (talk) 06:15, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
