Hi!
The technical name for "editing the name of a Wikipedia page" in the Wikipedian language is "moving a page"; This help page will give you the instructions and rule for doing so.
I hope you found this answer helpful. (If yes, remove the "{{helpme}}" from this post.)

New York City[edit]

Hello, there have been a number of discussions on whether this article should be named New York or New York City. Please refer to the talk page archives, where the consensus was New York City. If you feel New York is the more fitting name and that this issue should be revisited, feel free to start a new discussion. Until then let's stick with what we have, thanks! — MusikAnimal talk 05:47, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

I have reverted your latest edits. Please abide by the consensus as mentioned in the entry above. Continuation of your disruptive edits may result in you being banned from editing. Thank you, David J Johnson (talk) 20:22, 18 October 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for January 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Languages of Europe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Greek (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Dutch East Indies is now Indonesia[edit]

Hi. Your recent edit to Naamloze vennootschap implies that this term is currently in use in Indonesia. If you do not know for sure that this is the case, you should undo your edit. According to this article the term PT Tbk is currently used instead. Thanks. My Gussie (talk) 19:42, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

Ramapough Mountain Indians[edit]

Your edits would require a page move to retitle the article. I see that at the top of your page you've had a link to how to do this. Please don't make such major edits again without agreement, and please also use WP:Edit summaries. Thanks. Dougweller (talk) 18:24, 10 April 2015 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
