Spam note
[edit]Please do not add advertising or inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.
Your recent addition to flux (metallurgy) added links to commercial websites. We are not here to promote commercial interests. Vsmith (talk) 17:41, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'm going to second what Vsmith said. The links that you have been adding are to commercial web pages selling products. Please don't do that. Per WP:SPAM and WP:EL, that's very strongly discouraged. The fact that you gave "product promotion" as a rationale for removing material from Solder shows that you already know this, so please refrain from adding promotional links in the future. --Christopher Thomas (talk) 22:46, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

- This article draft appears to be a clear copy of a commercial web page, at [1]. Per WP:COPYVIO, don't do that. It will get you blocked.
- Given that your username matches the employee name on one of that company's press releases about the product ([2]), I'm going to remind you again about WP:COI and WP:SPAM. --Christopher Thomas (talk) 04:52, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
