Oh man! I'm really sorry! I thought I was writing that under a new reply with some other things. Sorry about that, glad you caught it. [Mαc Δαvιs] (How's my driving?) ❖ 21:39, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Surprise!
You just admonished a user IP address!
Here is an even bigger one: Wikipedia has rules governing that as well.
Feeling selectively judgemental today, admin?
Racists are always morons, and will be addressed as such in any forum, message board, or summary. I care not whether they get their feelings hurt by the commentary.
Have a good one. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.22.22.101 (talk) 22:30, 28 March 2007 (UTC).
- Thanks for sharing your opinion. Point remains that if you abuse wikipedia policy by being incivil, you will be blocked. Simple as that. --Ezeu 22:39, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
- Blocking IP addresses is considered officially 'silly' by policy here, with good reason. This IP will transfer to some other poor sod in a few days. Point remains. Ciao bello.
- I will not argue policy with you, and yes I will block your IP if you do not follow the rules. --Ezeu 16:16, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:CathyFreeman-Stamp.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the image description page and edit it to add
{{Replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 48 hours after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Abu badali (talk) 18:13, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Re Ugandan topics TfD
Hi again Ezeu,
- Template:Uganda topics has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for Deletion page...
Thanks for taking the trouble to post the above. Rather than deletion, perhaps a review of the template's contents might be timely, with reference to similar templates; it would probably also benefit from addition of one or more links to Category:Uganda / Portal:Uganda / List of Uganda-related topics. Hope all well, David Kernow (talk) 19:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
Project FUBELT
Well, you supposed cleanup on that page was really more of a complete emptying of any significant content. It is now less than a stub, something probably not even worth keeping for very long. But it was really more of hack job. You're supposed link to the Transwiki source (Wikisource?) on the notes describing the change is a broken link that does not work and leads really nowhere! Great "cleanup" job. I suggest you at least restore it to what it was before your attempt to almost basically eliminate the subject from the database. For example, the ending of the previous page had all the important subject connections and links (categories), and that should have never been touched at all. I guess if you don't fix the mess, I will have to go back and really clean up the mess you created. I'd appreciate it if you did it yourself, as behooves a respectable Wikimedia editor. Thanks. warshy 17:44, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- That article was a mess, consisting merely of excerpts, and inherently confusing. It is better as a stub, worth building on. Wikipedia articles are not supposed to be composed of cut-n-pastes of excerpts - those belong at wikisouce. The transwikied artice is here. See also the concerns raised about a year ago in the article's talk-page. Go ahead and improve the article, but do not haphazardly copy and paste chunks of texts that give little or no context to the reader. --Ezeu 19:44, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanations. More than that, the latest revision you did on the page seems to correct all the problems. It looks good now, again. The only recommendation I'd have, and which I will try to do myself also, is to check all the categories that were there in the original version, and check that none was overlooked. Thanks again for the good revision job! warshy 13:35, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Non-profit organizations
Thanks for the heads up - i didn't think i did it right. Hopefully, now it is right. How long does this usually take? I have been pretty frustrated by the inconsistencies in these categories when participating in Wikipedia:WikiProject Categories/uncategorized. Scarykitty 03:52, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, looks good. They are usually listed for five days, but may be closed earlier if participants ask for a speedy close and consensus is clear. Good of you for spending time doing some cleaning up. --Ezeu 06:39, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Pygmies from South America

Your e-mail
Dear Ezeu: Thank you so much for your kind e-mail. You have made my day. :-)
I am really honoured that my message to you - humble as it was, and indeed it could have been better written - prevented you from feeling unwelcome as a result of your initial article creation being deleted. I can but try and make sure that I am respectful to people, and explain things to them; I don't always succeed in living up to my moralisms, I freely admit, thus making me something of a hypocrite at times. I think, though, at least if one tries, one is working towards a better goal, and if one can make any kind of difference somewhere, it's worth it.
Of course, it is to you, not I, that the credit is really due; for braving that initial period of rejection that nearly every single new Wikipedia editor encounters when they first start, and "learning the ropes", as it were. I offer you my most sincere congratulations for your progress, and my deepest thanks to you for continuing on our project; I do hope that you have the best of success in your editing endeavours. If any situation should arise in which I may be able to assist you further, please remember that I am always at your service. Yours, --NicholasTurnbull | (talk) 19:58, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Unholy Alliance
There's nothing published by PBS under their topic of "Religion & Ethics" that is not well reviewed and highly notable. The author is an ordained Baptist minister with a PhD from Harvard. It is an abuse to invoke the 3rv rule when I am systematically addressing your concerns. My latest edit (removing external links) is different from my previous one, and so is not strictly a reversion. 63.98.135.196 23:03, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- The book review is not notable, whomever the author may be.--Ezeu 23:11, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
This sounds like a lot of your POV, considering the review is very well written, citing interesting outside information, and the author has written two books on religion: THE TALKING BOOK: AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE BIBLE (Yale University Press, 2006) and A LOVE SUPREME: A HISTORY OF THE JOHANNINE TRADITION (Augsburg Fortress Publishers, 2005). First, read the review you dismiss so lightly at http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/week1008/review.html or is it your position that no review is notable? Also, why would you threaten me with the 3RR when I've reverted your edit only ONCE and that AFTER first addressing your concerns (outside links)? My new version was not identical to a previous version (the definition of a revert) because of my good-faith edits to address YOUR concerns. Now, you seem motivated by a POV consideration and to have reverted to an identical version. Isn't that right? 63.98.135.196 23:35, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- My position is that reviews are seldom notable enough to warrant mention on a disambiguation page, let alone have a Wikipedia article. In this case not even the reviewed book, let alone the person who wrote the review has a Wikipedia article. Maybe you shoud start an article about Allen Dwight Callahan and mention the book review and other stuff he has written there. --Ezeu 00:23, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I guess you didn't read what you deleted. Both the reviewed book AND its author have Wikipedia articles that specifically mention Callahan's review. 63.98.135.196 00:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- The man who wrote the book has an article, not the man who wrote a review about the book. --Ezeu 00:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)
- I guess you didn't read what you deleted. Both the reviewed book AND its author have Wikipedia articles that specifically mention Callahan's review. 63.98.135.196 00:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi
Hi, are you an admin? The user who vandalised my page is a banned user called User:Eoganan and User:Pan-ethnic. This person has vandlised my page many times, and always edits the same articles in the same POV fashion. He has a very consistent editing style. Can you block this IP? Is it OK to make this request? Thanks for any help. Alun 06:52, 16 April 2007 (UTC)

Yoweri Museveni
Regarding Yoweri Museveni, I removed the citation because the Executive Intelligence Review is not considered a reliable source due to it being the main organ of the LaRouche Movement. I'm not saying that the assertion being sourced in the article is necessarily untrue but if there's any question about it a more reliable source should be found. -Will Beback · † · 07:29, 21 April 2007 (UTC)

Bill O'Reilly
Why did you revert my change? I did take it to talk, and suggested removing the critisism section since it is duplication of existing information on that page. It serves no purpose, and considering the article is already long it is a good part to remove. Perhaps you should visit the talk section before you critisize my changes. Arzel 01:00, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
- Was perhaps not a well thought through revert. I'll leave it to y'all to battle it out on the talk page.--Ezeu 02:36, 22 April 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, do you have any idea about how that could have happened? I thought I had only changed one sentence? I did not do a revert. Is there any way to get an old page with just the "edit this page" tab?--Africangenesis 15:13, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
- I see that you have figured out how to do it. Cheers. --Ezeu 15:17, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

Talk page
I am defending my rights within the law - so it isn't a threat, it is a concrete statement. What he did is an attempt at defamation of character, period. It is one thing to throw in a personal attack - but what he is doing is an attack upon my work, my reputation, and my character. It is unwarranted, unjust, and if it isn't retracted - it will be more. That isn't a threat, that is a fact. There have been lawsuits won for a whole lot less. I respond with passion because I am both innocent of what he claims (and quite shocked, actually, at such an attempt to claim what is completely arbitrary and subjective), and I am upset at the fact that there is no action as of yet. Rarelibra 13:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- However, I did go back and clean up a few things and remove his personal attacks, as allowed by wiki. Thank you for pointing out this fact - and as an administrator, can you do something regarding his malicious attack upon my character? Rarelibra 13:17, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
- He has apologized, so time to move on. --Ezeu 19:45, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
i need help!
hi!
i am a new wikipedian, so i dont know really what to do. my whole history is on my talk page(SteveNash11), but i left it there for a day and no one readed and posted any suggsetions. so then i decided to just ask directly to a random admin. i'm not sure if ur busy or not, so im terribly sry if ur not allowing this type of comment. to make a long story short, my dad told me to vandal wikipedia(and give me his account). i tried and it got blocked. it is fun, just like my dad said, but i dont know if its the right thing..........—The preceding unsigned comment was added by SteveNash11 (talk • contribs) 03:43, 8 May 2007 (UTC).

oh. i wonder why my dad does it....... anyways, do u think my edit to password strength is useful?—Preceding unsigned comment added by SteveNash11 (talk • contribs) 05:51, 8 May 2007 (TUTCalk
- It looks like a good edit. But someone may disagree and remove it. --Ezeu 06:19, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
DP
You asked in your edit summary: "why was Democratic Party removed?" Because it isn't known as DP, according to its article. -- JHunterJ 01:02, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- There is at least one "Democratic Party" known as DP, Democratic Party (Uganda). There are also several other Democratic Parties referred to as DP[1], so a mention in the disambiguation page is warranted. --Ezeu 01:08, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, the "warranted" chain there is "so a mention in the Democratic Party article is warranted, which will then in turn warrant its inclusion on DP." Without the addition on the article, another editor may come by later and remove it for the same reason I did. -- JHunterJ 10:58, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Color Africa
I have been trying to create an entry for an organization called, Color Africa. Because of a lack of sources I have been unable to do so. I have recently come across a couple of sources that should help solidify this entry. You can view these sources by viewing www.colorafrica.com/news.html. Please let me know if this is enough to once again recreate this article. 66.142.0.235 14:03, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Some more references from notable news sources would be good. --Ezeu 14:36, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Can you give me examples of "notable news sources" so that I know what to look for? 66.142.0.235 14:58, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- What I should have said is reliable source. --Ezeu 15:02, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Are city newspapers and city tv news sources not reliable? 66.142.0.235 17:03, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- They are often considered reliable. --Ezeu 17:20, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
Another article has been written about Color Africa. You can view it by viewing www.colorafrica.com/news.html (It is the Eagle Press article). Let me know if I can now create an article about this project now, or if we still need more. 66.142.0.137 21:31, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
- I don't see that a mention in a home-owned weekly community newsletter (circulation 1,000) makes Color Africa a notable organization. --Ezeu 09:39, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

Not satisfied with losing argument after argument on his own talk page, JzG has deleted the discussion we were having on the MIS talk page, and locked the page. Would you be so kind as to help me out? I am really fed up with that guy; he acts like god, and is doing everything he can to advance his personal prejudice on this subject. I have saved the debate on his talk page to my computer, in case he decides to delete and/or lock that aswell. Bards 14:16, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
It does seem to me that JzG is allowing his point of view and personal prejudice to drive his decisions in this case. There is clearly a small but growing number of men in the English speaking world who elect to wear skirted garments for whom a Wikipedia article, such as the one so arbitrarily deleted, would have been a valuable resource. Tazzymutt 15:31, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi Ezeu, can you please take a look at this article, Garrett A. Morgan, and some of the discussion on the talk page. I don't know what to do, and do not want to jump to the wrong conclusions, ie (racist) propaganda, or sneaky discrediting, nor do I wish to, on the other hand, aggrandize or create other falsehoods in the other direction which may not be factual or "plumped up" either. Man in a skirt
So, let's see if I have this correctly. Man in a skirt (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) was blocked on the 8th of May. His unblock request was then declined on the 9th. You then turn up weeks later and in a seemingly drive-by fashion unblock him, overruling more than one fellow admins in the process, and without a note to anyone's talk page or AN saying this is what you've done, and ignoring that there was more to the block than just a sock accusation. – Steel 13:33, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- From our blocking policy: "Administrators should not unblock users blocked by other administrators without first attempting to contact the blocking administrator and discuss the matter with them. It may not necessarily be obvious what the problem necessitating blocking was, and it is a matter of courtesy and common sense to consult the blocking administrator. If the blocking administrator is not available, or if the administrators cannot come to an agreement, then a discussion at the administrators' noticeboard is recommended." (H) 13:55, 24 May 2007 (UTC)
- Ezeu, this was discussed at the time; this is almost certainly a reincarnation of Dr1819 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) and Mugaliens (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), this user is a very adept Wikilawyer, and will happily talk all four legs off a donkey, but he is only here to promote an agenda. Removal of content at Talk:Scrotum
In this diff, you removed a comment by User:Jacketeer from Talk:Scrotum, identifying it as "nonsense". I feel that you stepped over the line by removing what was a clearly stated concern about content, so I have reverted the edit. Please contact me if you would like to discuss this. Joie de Vivre 00:00, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- No, I do not want to contact you about this, it is not an issue I wish to squabble about. However, I recommend you to view other edits made by the person who added that "nonsense", and if after doing so you still believe that comment to be seriously meant, useful, and not mere trolling, then so be it. That editor wrote in the talk-page of Indigenous Australians that "Do you think the article should say something about why they look like apes? They really do. - I took a quick look at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals, and at existing projects at Category:WikiProjects - I can see Wikiproject:Racism being rejected for being too broad in context, but I still believe it is worth a try. The trick is to formulate the project description well. --Ezeu 01:19, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BigrTex 22:34, 19 June 2007 (UTC)
