Frigid bumblebee
[edit]Nice work on the Frigid bumblebee article. I wonder if you would like to consider submitting it as a candidate for the "Did you know...?" feature. DYKs (as they are commonly called) are short snippets taken from Wikipedia's newest articles and, if approved, appear on the Main Page. You can learn more about this by clicking on the image to the right to access a nice pdf outlining the process.
According to the DYK tool, your 5x expansion of the article began on the 26th, and since you only have a week to submit the article, you should do this as soon as possible. Assuming, of course, that you're interested. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:43, 28 September 2015 (UTC)
DYK nomination of Frigid bumblebee
[edit]Hello! Your submission of Frigid bumblebee at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! — Maile (talk) 22:53, 24 October 2015 (UTC)
- Floyd Burney, there has been another issue raised. Please stop by when you can. Many thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 23:44, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
DYK for Centris pallida
[edit]On 3 November 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Centris pallida, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Centris pallida male bees regularly have internal temperatures only three degrees Celsius (about five degrees Fahrenheit) from being lethal? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Centris pallida. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

[edit]On 14 November 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Frigid bumblebee, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the frigid bumblebee is one of only two species of bumblebee to have natural-born cues to prevent inbreeding? You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Incomplete DYK nomination
[edit]Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Centris pallida at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; see step 3 of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 08:12, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Centris pallida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mutualism. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
