Karhoo

Hi Ged

Getting in touch on regarding the page about Karhoo. This was deleted yesterday for using advertising content. Is there anyway this can be reinstated with unbiased content?

The page was originally setup by a company member, but to my best knowledge recent updates have been made by public editors rather than the brand or any agency.

Aphasia Access

13:25, 24 November 2015 Ged UK (talk | contribs) deleted page AphasiaAccess (A7: Article about a company, corporation, organization, or group which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject (CSDH))

Hello, I received the message above about my page and it was deleted. I'm just wondering what the issue was, how I can remedy it, and how I can improve so that I may be able to post the article.

Thank you,

Thom

@TPadilla2014: Hi there. The article was deleted because there was nothing in there that explained why the company was notable according to Wikipedia's standards. There was a lot about the condition, but what the article needs are independent sources that talk about the actual organisation. For example an independent (i.e. not written by the company) that talks about what it does. That sort of thing. Have a read of Wikipedia's notability guidelines and what constitutes a reliable source.
I can restore the article to your userspace so that you can work on it if you like. Let me know. GedUK  13:15, 12 January 2016 (UTC)

@Ged UK: If you could restore the article to my workspace, that would be wonderful. Thank you very much.

@TPadilla2014: Done. It's now at User:TPadilla2014/AphasiaAccess.

Please Review Speedy Deletion for Tax Defense Network

The page Tax Defense Network has been marked for CSD, but it's a reputable company with a good presence on main stream media. I request you to please review and see if the CSD can be declined. Thank you.

P.S.: I specifically messaged you because I've seen your prior fair judgements of CSDs. --Gurpreet Singh Modi (talk) 22:43, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I was in bed when you sent this. It's been deleted now, you'll have to ask the deleting admin, Spinningspark (talk · contribs). GedUK  08:00, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Optience

Hi Ged

I still need to work on the Optience page, could you move it to my user account space ? I made a mistake by starting on the main site instead of my user account space. This is my first article.

Thanks Suchey — Preceding unsigned comment added by Suchey (talkcontribs) 21:34, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

@Suchey: I've restored it and moved it to User:Suchey/Optience. GedUK  08:03, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Oath Keepers

Hi,

Thanks for putting the semi-protection on the Oath Keepers article. Given their prominence in news related to the Occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge ongoing, is it possible to request that it be set to longer (say, 30 days) or set it to be revisited once the news cycle has calmed down?

Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz (talk) 14:42, 14 January 2016 (UTC)

@Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz: Hi there. I'd rather not at this point. I know it's in the news, but 10 days is quite long for a first protection. If it carries on again after it's expired, just relist it or let me know and I'll give it longer for the second. GedUK  08:06, 15 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi,

It seems to be spreading - IP vandals and throwaway-account vandals making similar edits have popped up at Occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and Sovereign citizen movement.

Are you asking me to unprotect? I now have done. GedUK  13:50, 18 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi, you asked me to let you know if the IP vandalism resumed at Oath Keepers following your 10-day page protection. Sadly it has almost immediately resumed, I've put a note on the noticeboard but wanted to inform you as well. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Current_requests_for_increase_in_protection_level. Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz (talk) 18:33, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

@Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz: I see that this has been actioned now. I don't get on much at weekends, so putting it on the noticeboard was definitely the right thing! Do you need anything else from me? GedUK  07:58, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

Hi, thank you so much for protecting the page before. May I request for another protection to the page? There has been numerous vandalism and I have been reverting the edits for quite some time. :( —Avriliza (talk) 17:38, 23 January 2016 (UTC)

Goodbye

To whom it may concern: I'm quitting Wikipedia due to misbehavior, bullying, gaslighting and other harassment by NewsAndEventsGuy and Bondegezou (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:LavaBaron#80.25_likely_I_just_quit._Make_that_90.25. for details, noting they filed a bad-faith ANI action trying to get me blocked out of spite as well as their IP vandalism to my talk page). Today the only thing I'm doing is closing down my involvement with one or two pages so nobody expects me to respond to anything.

So long, and thanks for all the fish! Prostetnic Vogon Jeltz (talk) 13:44, 25 January 2016 (UTC)
