Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! June 2017[edit]

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that in this edit to Arabic numerals, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Jim1138 (talk) 18:46, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please see wp:BRD Use wp:notifications to get the attention of interested parties (such as Kautilya3 and I) See wp:talk page guidelines and wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 18:48, 3 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Notice of edit warring[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Arabic numerals. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 03:18, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

June 2017[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Arabic numerals shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
There is no WP:CONSENSUS yet for your changes on the talk page. In that case, we are bound to maintain WP:STATUSQUO. Please self-revert. Tyler Durden (talk) 16:42, 4 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Tyler Durden: 24 hours had passed with no one objecting to the edit in the discussion, how much longer do I have to wait before I carry on with the edit in your opinion? If someone in the discussion feel that no consensus had been reached, they can claim so themselves. If you have an issue with the edit, please join the discussion page. Notice

The file File:Radiata Stories Japanese Cover.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Only one cover should be used as this one fails WP:NFCC#3a; the NA release would be more preferable per WP:VGBOX.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
