Image tagging for Image:Fashion net.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Fashion net.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Fashion net.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:Fashion net.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by an adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Wizardman 00:05, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia conflict of interest policy

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Haadaa. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 12:22, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Fashion Net shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Discussion about COI and other accounts?

[edit]

Hi Haadaa. I work on conflict of interest issues here in Wikipedia. your edits to date are pretty much all about Stig Harder and the properties he created: Fashion Net, Lumière (magazine), International Academy of Fashion Arts and Sciences. Your edits are also very similar to those of Shousokutsuu, making it appear as though one person might be operating both accounts.

You have been given notice of the Conflict of Interest guideline and Terms of Use above, but I don't see where a conversation actually took place, and hope you are willing to talk a bit.

Wikipedia is a widely-used reference work and managing conflict of interest is essential for ensuring the integrity of Wikipedia and retaining the public's trust in it. As in academia, COI is managed here in two steps - disclosure and a form of peer review. Please note that there is no bar to being part of the Wikipedia community if you want to be involved in articles where you have a conflict of interest; there are just some things we ask you to do (and if you are paid, some things you need to do).

Disclosure is the most important, and first, step. While I am not asking you to disclose your identity (anonymity is strictly protected by our WP:OUTING policy) would you please disclose if you have some connection with Stig Harder or any of the properties you have worked on articles about? You can answer how ever you wish (giving personally identifying information or not), but if there is a connection, please disclose it.

Also, have you edited under other accounts here in Wikipedia? If so this is a violation of the WP:SOCK policy, but is no big deal if you disclose other accounts and just use one going forward.

After you respond to the two questions (and you can just reply below), perhaps we can talk about next steps. Please reply here - I am watching this page. Thanks! Jytdog (talk) 18:16, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Would you please reply here? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 01:35, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK, so I tried to open a discussion with you here, just simply. It seems that you are upset based on what you are writing at COIN. I would like to explain the context to you but if you won't talk with me, I can't do that. Jytdog (talk) 15:30, 24 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for being a role account per [1]. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bishonen | talk 19:41, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
