Please do not write an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Henry E. Aryan. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). Wikipedia

I feel you have mistaken what Wikipedia is. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and is not for hosting "a profile page on wikipedia as part of my social media campaign". This is a blatant admission of promotion to my mind, and Wikipedia is NOT social media, unlike Facebook and Myspace. Posting one's autobiography is not a recommended thing (see WP:AUTOBIO) although it is not forbidden, but WP:COI should also be taken into account. I am not sure what this 'campaign' is about, but this is not the place for any campaigning, social, political, charitable or commercial. Peridon (talk) 20:53, 16 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
