Welcome back...

...and my very best wishes! Voceditenore (talk) 17:53, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Voc. I'm not sure what my involvement will be but the main contemporary music articles still bug me after all these years, especially 21st-century classical music... Iadmc (talk) 19:10, 2 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, good to see you back again! Welcome! --Deskford (talk) 19:02, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Deskford. Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 19:25, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good to see you back, Jubilee! Airplaneman 17:20, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Airplaneman. I assume you are busy with school these days? Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 17:23, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, school is still keeping me quite busy. Going forward, I hope to get more of my fellow academics involved in this project; another goal is to continue pushing against gender bias on Wikipedia. Hope all is well with you. Airplaneman 17:11, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I've noticed the bias. OTOH, some of the greatest and most trustworthy Wikipedians are female eg SlimVirgin, Voceditenore, and our mutual friend, the Princess, of course. We could certainly do with more of them! It is noticeable on many articles about gender issues and sexuality... that needs addressing. Appreciated

[edit]

Your attempts at copy-editing the Psinakis article are appreciated. Unfortunately, I have discarded much of what was edited in favor of removing what was replaced a while back and shouldn't have been. Redundancies, non-encyclopedic tone, peacocking and POV language, undue weight, poor grammar and syntax - all of these things have repeatedly plagued this article for quite some time at the hands of one editor. I hope you will help support these changes as a net positive for BLP policy and the encyclopedia. Also, thank you for restoring my article talk page comments and for notifying me of the ANI discussion. -- WV 14:47, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Winkelvi, actually it was me who notified you and who restored your comments at Talk:Ilias Psinakis. Anyhow, your latest edit is a big improvement. I'm not sure how long it will last, but if I were you, I'd avoid editwarring. Perhaps try to get some extra eyes on it at WP:BLPN instead. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 15:03, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Don't know why, but I thought you were both the same editor. Sorry for the mixup, and thank you! No, I won't be edit warring there. I will, however, hope that others with an interest in keeping the integrity of the article as status-quo will be paying attention and do the right thing.. -- WV 15:06, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's on my watch list so I'll keep an eye out. Don't worry about rolling back and losing my edits: 1. that's Wikipedia; 2. if the older version is prefered then that's the one that should be worked with; 3. BLP is a major issue I have been very much involved in and intend to continue doing so. Best Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 15:32, 13 November 2016 (UTC)PS that's the first time I've been mistaken for Voc. Nice compliment![reply]

PPS the latest version is far superior. Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 15:38, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sock from Kerala, India

[edit]

An anon who geolocates to Kerala, India has been blocked multiple times for various policy violations. The primary article has been social work The anon does do good edits, but all are removed per wp:deny. I removed the anon's edit from Talk:Self-esteem, but left yours. Remove yours, if you wish. See: Talk:Social work#IP-hopper and User:Jim1138/IP Hopper from Kerala. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 23:17, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I think the anon uses wifi or internet cafe as the IP changes every day. More so if blocked. Jim1138 (talk) 23:40, 19 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I've remove my comments as no longer relevant. Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 01:39, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Want to help shape the future of the Wikipedia editing experience?

[edit]

Hi Iadmc,

The Design Research team at the Wikimedia Foundation is currently seeking Wikipedians for user studies about their experience with current editing tools and to test out some prototype editing tools. If you’re interested in helping to shape the future of editing on Wikipedia, we would love to have you participate! The study session will take approximately 30 minutes, maximum of 45 minutes.

The study will take place in the next couple weeks, and will require participants to have access to a webcam and microphone (or a laptop with built in cam & mic), with a quiet place to go for a research session. To participate, please email dchen[at]wikimedia.org and include the following information:

  • Username
  • Email where we can reach you
  • Your city or time zone
  • Best time to talk to you

Please let me know if you have any questions! Look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Daisy Chen

your Link in thita work please correct and please make the best of what I found — Preceding unsigned comment added by 22sep (talkcontribs) 01:44, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'll look when I get a chance Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 01:53, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

They donot have authority to delete the page so they delete the link in stead and have your people delete it Please keep all the link just hide it when we submit they might be able to do something.I know now what they did ,I will put each link twice.I want to show you what the street look like and the way .The third one had change the community beside it in last 5-10year while the second (5th) did not ? 22sep (talk) 08:54, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thita was deleted already.Can you ask,please? 22sep (talk) 14:10, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Some of her images have been deleted and the original page Thita_Manitkul has been deleted to to make way for the draft Draft:Thita_Manitkul being returned there when we are ready. This is good, as it now doesn't redirect to the draft leaving you and me more at liberty to edit the article and make it acceptable to the community. Some story with Draft:Sukavich_Rangsitpol and Sukavich_Rangsitpol. The images we will deal with later Iadmc (Jubileeclipman) (talk) 17:13, 2 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

i thought we loss it 22sep (talk) 12:25, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

who do you think keep changing my link without showing name in history of page? 22sep (talk) 18:47, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

When you touch language change to thai in Draft:Sukavich Rangsitpol you will get Th:สมัย เจริญช่างformer Muslim Congressman who loss1996 election to him in state of th: สุขวิช รังสิตพล

22sep (talk) 18:51, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Should you report this and if the person who did this get his title remove it will be easier for us to get this going Thank you 22sep (talk) 18:54, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

That's all a bit odd... I'll have a look when I get a chance — Iadmctalk  20:27, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  3. "Hide trusted users" checkbox option on watchlists and related/recent changes (RC) pages
  4. Real-Time Recent Changes App for Android
  5. Shortcut for patrollers to last changes list

Further, there are more than 20 proposals related to Watchlists in general that you may be interested in reviewing. (and over 260 proposals in all, across many aspects of wikis)

Thank you for your consideration. Please note that voting for proposals continues through December 12, 2016.

Note: You received this message because you have transcluded {{User wikipedia/RC Patrol}} (user box) on your user page. Since this message is "one-time-only" there is no opt out for future mailings.

Broken infoboxes

[edit]

I have undone your edits : [1], [2] to List of flag bearers for Benin at the Olympics and List of flag bearers for Guyana at the Olympics and they broke the infoboxes, and it was unclear from your edit summaries what you were trying to do.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 12:16, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hm... WPCleaner reported the template as a problem because it used incorrect coding. Did check to see if there was a problem after my edit but couldn't see any issue. I'll undo the others... and flag them up as not needing changed. Sorry about that! — Iadmctalk  13:58, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
