Why?

[edit]

Excuse me, but why would you write that "Love at First Sight" contains excerpts of "Can't Beat The Feeling" when the official tour program lists that mash-up as "Love At First Sight"/"Can't Beat The Feeling". You can incorrectly list something because it's what you prefer. Listings on Wikipedia must be correct. And it doesn't get anymore correct that from an official source. So please, stop writing it incorrectly. Mirrored Love (talk) 23:30, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And what is this "official" source that you have? Oh you mean a DVD tracklisting? Yes, common sense says that is very official. Wrong. A DVD represents one concert, not the entire tour. So, blindly using it to represent the entire tour is foolish. Itsbydesign (talk) 17:53, 15 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A DVD tracklist is an official source, and no it doesn't represent all of the shows, but it is a core reference, hence additional notes have been added to cater for this. You may also notice that I have sourced the official tour programme, which if anyone actually owns will also see the correct way to reference the setlist. Please stop reverting.Mirrored Love (talk) 01:40, 16 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not vandalism

[edit]

How I edited the Aphrodite World Tour page was not an act of vandalism. You are the one attempting to incorrectly cite the setlist. It says in the tour book that the mash-up is called 'Love At First Sight/Can't Beat The Feeling', you cannot argue with that! As far as your notes go, it is wrong and silly to list every song in the request section, considering she only sung some of those songs in full. Instead, it is more correct to tell of the request section as preceding PYHU. Please stop reverting as you are the one damaging and vandalising the page; not me. Mirrored Love (talk) 01:22, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A DVD tracklist is not an official source. As stated, it represents one show out of 70. Once again, you are using your own personal research which violates the neutrality of the article. Are are 3+ reliable sources within the text of the article that disagree with your opinion. Itsbydesign (talk) 09:32, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know why you think the DVD track-list is not an official source considering it came from the official tour DVD announcement on Kylie's official website. And you know that the notes that I've added sufficiently cater for such differences in the show; it's ludicrous to try and list every request song! Out of those 'reliable' sources of yours, none are official! Do you have the tour programme? If so, have a look at the correct, official, whatever other adjective you want to throw at it, way to title the mash-up. Sorry if you don't like the name but 'Love At First Sight/Can't Beat The Feeling' is the official way of citing the title of the mash-up. I'm not violating neutrality if something is 100% official!. That just means it's correct. Look at this link, http://kylieminogueaphrodite.yolasite.com/lafscbtf.php it may refresh your memory. Please stop reverting! Mirrored Love (talk) 20:43, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No. A DVD tracklisting represents the video footage contained on that DVD. Thus, it can be altered to fit how the editor and/or video production team sees fit. At the end of the day, it still does not represent the tour, it represents the DVD. That is why the song is listed the way you choose on the DVD tracklisting portion of the article. Wikipedia guidelines have NOTHING to do with being "official". It states, "a third party reliable source". You might wanna brush up on how a source is defined. Deliberately adding factual errors does violate the neutrality of the article. Your next revert will constitute as WP:3RR and will be brought to the attention of the administrators' noticeboard. Itsbydesign (talk) 02:07, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

If you actually have a look at the editing page, multiple users agree with me and have reverted it, it's not only me. Therefore I can not be held responsible for edit warring as I haven't made any edits for a few days; if you want to report it you can, but it doesn't change the fact that they way you are listing the song is incorrect. It also proves that many others wish to site the mash-up by it's official title; not that that means anything to you. The notes section should also be kept simple by not listing a handful of songs in the request section; it keeps the article much more cohesive. Please stop reverting and incorrectly listing the mash-up and complicating the notes! Thank you Mirrored Love (talk) 02:52, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OH NO! NOT A SOCK PUPPET CASE!!! AAAAAAAH, I'M SO SCARED!!! WHATEVER SHALL I DO?

Vandalism?

[edit]

Can you explain how this is vandalism? Remember to assume good faith. Just because it's an IP editor, it doesn't mean they're abusive. (please respond here, not on my talk page) ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 01:48, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Because the action done resulted with inaccurate information. This action has been done to the same section of the article by various IP users. Just because "vandalism" doesn't apply to that specific user, doesn't masked the action as vandalism. Itsbydesign (talk) 01:53, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If it's the same IP user each time, sure flag it as vandalism and warn the user. But at least verify the information you're reverting and fix it properly. After looking up the source, two of the bits of information that you saved were incorrect which is what confused me. I've changed the line to contain the proper, sourced, info. ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 03:07, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using this non-free image in this way. First, it does not comply with WP:NFCC #10c, which is a requirement under policy. Second, it's unnecessary. You can refer to the love symbol by using a link to the appropriate spot in Prince's article, like this: "singer's iconic love symbol". If you have questions, ask. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 03:13, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you undo my edit.

[edit]

Rounding 99.97% to 99 is highly misleading. If you must round, please round up or leave it more persice. Rounding up would be 32.3333 times more accurate than ronding down. If you had reason other than mathematical error for undoing my edit please inform me other wise leave it accurate.Theodorerichert (talk) 19:33, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not a sock puppet

[edit]

I would like to clarify that I am not a sock puppet of the listed accounts and I would like you not to accuse me because of your frustration. I am a true Kylie Minogue fan and have been for over a decade. My name, Automatic Love is a reference to a 1994 Kylie song from the Kylie Minogue album. Mirrored, Symphonic, Fantasy are not the title of any Kylie song, nor are they a reoccurring word/theme. I have only recently joined Wikipedia in order to edit without giving away my IP address; which I had so doltishly done for a few years. The only reason I had reverted the Aphrodite World Tour article to a previous edit is because I genuinely believe that Mirrored, Symphonic, Fantasy or whoever's set-list is correct and genuinely gives the correct information. Unlike, you (whom I understand where their name derives from, a 1994 Kylie b-side/unreleased track 'Difficult By Design'), who persistently reverts Mirrored, Symphonic... Love's edits despite the fact that they are correct. I am truly not a sock puppet of any other account; maybe just fallen victim to 'wrong place, wrong time'. But you should not revert their edits as they are correct, the mash-up is officially known as "Love At First Sight/Can't Beat The Feeling". They also provide much tidier and informative notes than you. I don't see why you are reverting their edits because a few news sites say otherwise. It's in the tour programme, you cannot reckon with that. You put me on... (talk) 21:16, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:VerizonTheatreGrandPrairie.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:VerizonTheatreGrandPrairie.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 03:53, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kelly Clarks concert tours

[edit]

Nice what you have done on 'Kelly Clarkson concert tours" page but the Hazel Eyes Tour and Addicted tour was not apart of Breakaway tour. Kelly has mentioned before how she did three tours promoting Breakaway. :)

Hola! I'm not quite sure what the intention was of this edit. It has reverted a major clean-up of the article in addition to to the conversion to List-Defined References and the {{R}} format used throughout all Avril Lavigne articles. Furthermore, your edit removed Avril Lavigne's concert date on February 16th, 2012, that you have shown disagreement with in the past. There are now two sources which point to this show being scheduled. I assume your previous comments that it's "unsourced" was actually meant to mean you believed it was an "unreliable source" (unreliable sources are still sources, just unreliable ones), but there is now an additional source to back-up the first one. I'm sure we are both here to help further the article along in the right direction, but your actions are beginning to lean on the side of OWNership. Please begin a discussion on the article's talk page so that we may come to an understanding. I'm sure you may have very good points and I am interested in hearing them. But doing it through edit summaries and blind reversions without comment are surely not the best way to handle this. Thanks a lot, and happy editing! =) ~ [ Scott M. Howard ] ~ [ Talk ]:[ Contribs ] ~ 01:39, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Kelly Clarkson tours

[edit]

Hi there. There is nothing wrong with the section 'Fan Requests' on the Stronger Tour article. It helps keeps track of what the fan requests were for each show. For example it is no different than there being a 'Fan Club choice' section on the Play On Tour article. Lastly it is reliable. People on the Kelly Clarkson Express message board who went to those concerts have mentioned what the fan request were plus there are videos of these requests on youtube to prove it. Also the people on the KCE who went to the Bossier City show said that she did not sing "Let Me Down", "Don't You Wanna Stay", "You Still Won't Know What It's Like", and "Gone". If she sang those songs in Bossier City I doubt they would have said that.

About the All I Ever Wanted tour it was the band Parachute from Virgina who opened up for Kelly not this other Parachute/Alex Somers kid. The Veroncias did drop out of the All I Ever Wanted tour before the tour started so there is no since for them being listed as an opening act. Eric Hutchinson replaced them for the North American leg. I know I sound like a broken record but seriously go to youtube. There are videos of Hutchinson opening for Kelly in N. America and there are no videos of The Veronica's opening up for Kelly. If they did open for her there would have probably been at least one video but there are none. Lastly there is nothing wrong with there being a link for Jason Hartman because the Jason Hartman from South Africa, who was on South African Idol did open for Kelly in South Africa. If all of this was not true I would have not put that information down I promise.

Honestly and I know this is hard to believe especially when you are trying to talk to someone online but I am not trying to start trouble that is not who I am. Please have some consideration here that is all I ask. Have a good day/night. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.111.68.211 (talk) 05:31, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please leave me alone. Honestly I have not done anything wrong, I am not the kind of person to put to down false information. It's ridicuols that you are giving me these warnings for no reason. My edits and other peoples edits are not disruptive, yours are. You and some other person are the ones who keep changing it and making it disruptive. There is nothing wrong with the fan request section and how the set list was. I am not the only one contributing to the fan request and other things on that page. I want to help and contribute to the Stronger Tour page but crap I'm afraid to because of you. Let's try to make amends and get alone here. [edit]

Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit that you made to User talk:BobDylanFan1994 has been reverted or removed because it was a misuse of a warning or blocking template. Please use the user warnings sandbox for any tests you may want to do, or take a look at our introduction page to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thank you. This user has has not been vandalizing Wikipedia. He may have added unsourced information to an article, but that doesn't mean he was doing a "deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia"; which is what vandalism is. — Statυs (talk) 02:49, 17 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Just weighing in here, Status is indeed correct. Vandalism has a very specific meaning on wikipedia, and is a loaded word - it must be a intentional attempt to harm the encyclopedia. It is your responsibility to use the correct templates, and if it doesn't say what you mean, then you shouldn't use it. What's more, removing Status' comments was inappropriate - don't do that again. Before you shoot your mouth off, do your research, all the edits you have reverted for example 'Central America' instead of 'North America' this time, was not me, nor was it me. It was however me that added the date in Ibiza, at the 123 Festival, because if you'd looked at the edit note and followed the link, you'd find out that Elton has been a confirmed headliner at the festival's Official website. It was also me that removed the date in Jakarta because it is no longer on Elton John's Official Website, please do your before asserting you 'authority'. Please read the discussion HERE, before changing anything you like. Stronger Tour

[edit]

Kelly Clarkson's Stronger Tour is not over. Those UK dates are apart of her tour not some other tour. Those North American shows that she did earlier this year is not the only leg of the Stronger Tour. Kelly has mentioned several times about going to other parts of the world for the Stronger Tour. Also the "fan request" was apart of the set list. Every night of the North American leg, she covered a fan's request. There are plenty of videos on You Tube to prove it. Right before she sang that request she mentioned how her music director came up with the idea of the fan request. Sorry but there is no need to give me a warning just because I put down the right information. For the UK dates, I had source from Kelly's website. For the last time leave me alone. That's all I ask. MDNA Tour

[edit]

Hello Itsbydesign. Today you left a message on the User talk page of User:Binksternet, warning him about adding unsourced material to MDNA Tour during June 2012 - your diff. You chose not to provide a diff for any of the inappropriate edits. You appear to have incorrectly identified the culprit – in June, Binksternet has added material to this article in only three edits, as follow: diff1, diff2 and diff3. Your edit advised Binksternet that his edit(s) had been reverted - none of these edits has been reverted.

As you can see, none of these edits could be described as adding unsourced material. Dolphin (t) 22:31, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A very odd addition to my talk page, especially in light of Itsbydesign's addition of unsourced material six minutes earlier. It's like throwing out a smokescreen in defense of expected response. However, the note had the opposite result! Upon seeing it, I came directly to the MDNA Tour article and removed the uncited material. Binksternet (talk) 22:39, 4 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Pink Friday: Reloaded Tour

[edit]

It is a completely separate tour to the current Pink Friday Tour, hence Live Nation announcing and treating it as such.

I have reverted your undos. Simple fact is you do not have any evidence that it is part of the same tour (as it isn't), and there are press releases and Twitter comments made by Nicki that it isn't.

Side-note, it is worrisome the amount of user complaints on your Talk page.

Red Hot Chili Peppers tour page changes

[edit]

Can you explain why without any prior edits or contributions you decided to make major changes to ALL of the band's tour pages including removing setlists, tourdates etc.

You even maked up your own names for tours like the Tony Flow Show (they only played two shows under the Tony Flow name) or Red Hot Chili Peppers: Live in Concert. Those tours didn't go by official names just by the year they toured. You also combined the 1988 tour and Uplift Mofo tour saying it was an extension of that tour, which it wasn't. The tour ended in June 1988 and the new one with a brand new linup started in September 1988. You also removed alot of tourdates for some reason as well. I noticed for some reason the band and backing member lineup was removed from certain pages including all mention of Josh Klinhoffer joining the band for the current tour. You also posted 2 random setlists on the I'm with You tour page giving the indication that these are the only setlists they follow.

If you want to make massive edits like this please discuss first. Of course anyone is free to edit and your edits are just as welcome however making up tour names, removing tour dates, song listings and key info are very sloppy edits. Others, including myself have spent a long time working to keeping these up to date and vandalism free and you came along and made your own personal changes with inaccurate information.

And judging from your feedback you seem to be randomly going around making various unwanted/uneeded edits to tour pages so if this is the case, please stop!! Jason1978 (talk) 13:27, 4 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm with You World Tour DRN thread

[edit]

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "I'm with You World Tour". Thank you. — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 08:58, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Also, I've noticed that you have been edit warring at the I'm with You World Tour article. I'm sure you're aware of this, but edit warring is not acceptable even if you think you are right, and it may lead to a block if you continue. I've left some advice for you at the DRN thread about how to deal with the situation - let me know if it sounds reasonable or not. Best regards — Mr. Stradivarius (have a chat) 09:09, 8 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Rihanna: Live in Concert Tour, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Park West (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
