A tag has been placed on File:953418908-university-of-veterinary-medicine-vienna-animal-hospital-veterinary-science-brick-building.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Copyright[edit]

Hello. I noticed that you recently uploaded many images, mostly logos of various universities in Austria. With regard to these images:

  • You had claimed that you owned the copyright over each logo. This is implausible - one would expect the university to own the logo. Although some of the logos may be too simple to be copyrighted in America, they will still be covered by trademark rights.
  • Use of non-free media on Wikipedia must comply with the relevant policy, WP:NFC. Please read this before uploading any more images. Consider using the Wikipedia:File Upload Wizard in future which will help you choose the right licensing options.
  • I have removed your copyright tags as I cannot believe you own the copyrights. I have replaced them with the appropriate non-free image tags.

Please be aware that repeated uploading of images in violation of copyright may lead to you being blocked from editing. If you have questions, may I suggest that the Wikipedia:Teahouse is a good place to ask questions about how Wikipedia works. Thank you, BethNaught (talk) 20:17, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You have continued to upload logos with incorrect copyright information, claiming you own them without evidence for such an unlikely claim. In the future you must add the correct non-free tags or provide the proof you own the copyrights. Failing to do so is likely to lead to the blocking of your account. BethNaught (talk) 08:51, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for using a non-free tag on your latest uploads. However, it is also necessary to add a fair use rationale, separate to the tag, to explain why it is fair use. For logos there is a convenient Template:non-free use rationale logo - please look at what I have added to your images to see how to use it. Be aware that non-free images without rationales are liable to be deleted. BethNaught (talk) 12:43, 22 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Would you mind actually doing what I asked? I just had, yet again, to add a fair use rationale to an image you uploaded. You should not expect other people to clear up after you and in the future they may not do so. BethNaught (talk) 07:54, 27 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
