Orphaned non-free image (Image:Windows98.gif)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Windows98.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 06:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Hi. I'm not sure if it's working properly. It's not archiving the wrong reports, but it looks like it isn't archiving some that have been closed. I can see a number of closed reports on Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets, specifically:

User:Hearsayheresy
User:Godzilla1138
User:DJVaccar
User:Eir Witt
User:Bob Lee Swagger
User:Fadix

Could you see what's making the bot not archive them and/or archive those manually? Cheers, John Smith's 11:33, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, they were taken care of by User:Akhilleus. However he commented the bot seemed to be slow - so I think there is something that needs tweaking. John Smith's 20:13, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Helperbot Code Update

[edit]

Good morning! I just wanted to let you know that I've updated the HBC AIV Helperbot source with version 2.0.8, and you will want to update your bot at your convenience. This version fixes a small issue that came up with indef blocks due to a change in the formatting of Special:Ipblocklist. Let me know if you have any problems. Thanks! —Krellis (Talk) 12:22, 20 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

EBot Task2

[edit]

Hi E, I noticed that you recently used AWB for a bot to replace {{Infobox Band}} with {{Infobox musical artist}}. I am also interested in using AWB to design similar bots in the future so is it possible that I have a look at your AWB setup file that you used to achieve this task? Thanks, take care --Kudret abi 02:54, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
