Number of Episodes

I don't think that is correct. Look at Mad Men or Boardwalk Empire and they just have the episodes that have aired. We also did that with True Blood. 22 episodes of Vampire Diaries have been promised but only 4 have aired to date. Ravenscroft32 (talk) 15:28, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Reported

Don't worry, you were reported after you decided to undo my edit a while ago. I'm sorry, but I was fed up and you just didn't listen. Maybe you'll learn from your mistakes. Thanks. CloudKade11 (talk) 21:40, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Just a note,

I'm surprised someone who has been here as long as you would call another editor's edits vandalism in a content dispute. Their edits were in no way a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of wikipedia. I suggest you read the previously linked page(WP:VAND) to fully understand what vandalism is and what it is not before you go throwing that word around. It isn't something to be used lightly, which you should have known given your time here.— dαlus Contribs 22:07, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

Vandalism is not something used lightly. If you want to call someone's editing disruptive, then call it disruptive, but it is not vandalism. Vandalism is a deliberate attempt to destroy the intgretity of the encyclopedia. Unintentionally unconstructive edits are not.— dαlus Contribs 22:26, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
Well CloudKade is not very innocent in that regard either. [1][2] Mike Allen 00:08, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
I didn't dig that deep mike, and I've honestly been going through much stress lately. As to a belated reply to Jay: Yes.— dαlus Contribs 08:34, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Re: Hello

Hi Jay, I'm sorry I haven't been around much. Kelly Rowland articles and WP:DISCOGSTYLE have been keeping me busy. In terms of music on wikipedia the latter has some significant implications so its worth a look. In terms of the outside world there's a lot to tell but right now I'm in the middle of moving flats at university so I'm not gonna really be around for next couple of days or so. As soon as my internet is working in the new place I'll be sure to drop you a message. Anyways hope things are cool? I'm bit kind of living out of boxes/suitcases at while things are getting sorted. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 22:59, 2 October 2010 (UTC)

OH SANTA!

Hiya Jamie, just thought I should warn you about Mariah tearin up the charts this Holiday season ;)--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 00:43, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

Yup, I think its really fun and festive ;). Yes it isnt gonna top AIWFCIY, but that isnt even possible. Cant wait for the other new songs and ballads on the album.--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 19:23, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Yupp. BTW, I heard that AIWFCIY is in the top 4 already this year for Holiday songs in the UK. How do Holiday albums do there? Are they popular in general?--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 20:26, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Lol, yes I got you. "Merry Christmas" and "These Are Special Times" are both only certified Gold in the UK, wheras AIWFCIY will soon pass the million sales mark :D--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 20:36, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Things aren't looking so peachy for that Ichhh Susan Boyle, at least here in the states. Her first album stayed atop the Top-100 in Amazon for months, no joke. This time, her album was just released for pre-order like 11 days ago and its already at #7. Not so great considerng the first one broke a household of records! How popular is she in the UK now? You know what I've noticed lol. Simon used to have Leona like his baby money-making machine, but now that she bombed, he dumped her for Boyle!Lol. He's quite the business man. :)--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 20:47, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Hhahaha, then no worries there ;) MC comes out seven days before :D. Uchhh, I hate her, she doesn't have a nice voice IMO, oh well. Shes famous in the US, UK, AUS and NZ, thats about it. What I'm hoping for is this album to re-ignite MC's popularity in Japan, where she is the best-selling international artist of all time. I mean, "Merry Christmas" sold over 2.5 million there alone, let's see :D.--PeterGriffinTalk2Me 21:01, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
Hmmm, thats a good question! I'm not sure, I have cable. Here in the states, cable is pretty affordable, so almost everyone has it :).
Yupp, #1's sold over 3.25 million in its first 3 MONTHS!!!and then Rainbow sold 1 million, then after that everything was only Platinum and Gold :S. Hopefully this new album and its reputation will re-ignite the album in Japan!! I would say the "Million" award is asking for allot, but I hope at least double-triple-platinum :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:15, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

One Tree Hill S8 Theme Song

Hey, how are you?? Just thought I'd ask you first, do you thing we could make a section in the OTH Season 8 page, and list all the artists tha preform the theme song for that episode??? Mjs2010 (talk) 09:02, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

Re: 90210

Sorry I'm a little late on this. I think the wording of that sentence ("none of these characters will appear again") could be a little different. We can't really say what will or won't happen. Plans change. We can just report what's scheduled or not scheduled to happen. Regards. -- James26 (talk) 18:35, 6 October 2010 (UTC)

My newest baby

Hi there Jamie, take a look at my current FA nomination and baby. Here is what Number 1's looked like before and here is what she looks like now --CallMeNathanTalk2Me 21:10, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Mariah Carey

Hi there Jamie. Well here is how I look at it, first of all Legolas just passed Merry Christmas, so its MC's first GA album article! Well, I kind of want to finish with her albums first, simply because they require more work, so I wanna get the harder stuff out of theway. I would like to fix a bit and re-nominate Mariah Carey and do Emotions, Rainbow, The Emancipation of Mimi and then start doing singles. E=mc2 and Memoirs are in pretty good shape, so they don't require my immediate attention like the older ones. But yes, I would like to make all her singles GA also. Number 1's is going for FA, so will Butterfly and Rainbow and Daydream, the rest will go for GA. Also both discographies are probably foing to be FL in the next week, thhey are looking favorable. Yes the singles will be my project after that, so it would be great if you would start on her singles (preferably starting with the most popular or #1's). But honestly, be my guest at doing any of them, eventually they all gotta be GA :D. If you need help or advice just let me know, we can make it a two man project --CallMeNathanTalk2Me 22:16, 10 October 2010 (UTC)

Hey there. Unfortunately the article was first reviewed by Lakeshade, who didn't really treat it fairly. He didn't even conduct a full GA review on it and just failed it. Then I re-nominated it and some noob "AlastorMoody" passed it. The Lakeshade complained and had it demooted :S. It did need fixing, but I could've done it quickly, whatever. So yeah I will fix it up a bbit and then re-nominate it. So where do you plan to get all the info to source the article? :) Do you have books or anything? The singles I would like to have FA actually are "One Sweet Day" "We Belong Together" "Butterfly" and maybe "Hero" so those need to be extra good lol. We should definately make the "Mariah Carey Wikiproject", I'll give it a try. Also, can you archive my talk page? --CallMeNathanTalk2Me 01:23, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Merry Christmas

Hi, thanks for the archiving :) Hmmm, what problems do you mean? If you tell me I would be glad to fix it! Sounds good when are you gonna start?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 20:58, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Ummm, it doesn't Jay, anyways I cut a link out.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 21:04, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Hi there Jamie. Looks like that guy Ikabod is looking for another big scale discussion lol. So just wondering, when are you going to start "Can't Take That Away"?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:55, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
Heheheh, well I hope you do! I'd like to see you get involved and help out :P.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 19:50, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Yes that I know as well. Well Itunes usually takes a while to update, I mean Pink's new song was out for like a week before I saw it in the list. Also, the song just got released so its not on the radio yet, it takes a little while to get heard. Well the album keeps building, I mean everyday it grows on Amazon etc. :) Give it some time.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 22:03, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Yup me too! Although I dont know where the song has been released. I know the US and Taiwan. Well anyway, I hope she visits other countries again for promo!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 22:32, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

You are so lucky! I can't imagine seeing her up so close :). I saw her on her AA tour, but wasnt as close as I wanted :(. IMO, she looks even better in person, she looked so vibrant.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:44, 13 October 2010 (UTC)

Lol, it stands for "in my opinion" hehe. OMG yes you have no idea, when she came out in concert I started crying and shaking haha, my mom flipped out and thought I was having a panic attack! Yes I love watching that interview on youtube. Her performance that night though wasnt as good as on the X Factor, that was her best one of the song hands down! Hahah that Allan Carr is gay right? Hes such a character lol, when the champagne splashed on his face --CallMeNathanTalk2Me 01:34, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Hahahha, yupp! Thats really cool, maybe one day I will see her up close :D. Hahahha yeah it seemed they got along so great, she always gets along well with gays like B Scott, him, Rosie etc. Im just so excited for everything! :) Im curious BTW, what are your like 7 favorite songs from her?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:52, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Hahahaha, Ok I'll go first. Now just because something isn't in the top 7 doesnt mean I dont love it, its just number 8 and on lol. Mine are (dont pay too much attention to the order) #1. "Butterfly" #2. "One Sweet Day" #3. "Whenever You Call (solo) #4. "Without You" #5. Anytime You Need a Friend #6. "Everything Fades Away" #7. "Through The Rain" :D
I also love "We Belong Together, Hero, Obsessed, Can't Take That Away, Its Like That, Someday, Joy To The World, Honey, Fantasy, AIWFCIY, Close My Eyes, The Beautiful Ones." You get it lol. Allot :) U?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:53, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Whoops LOL, I forgot "My All" I LUV that song ahah thats one of my favs too, just slipped my mind :). I did not like glitter :( I like Loverboy a little, and lead the way, there like 2 others i like but the rest ehhh.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 18:24, 14 October 2010 (UTC)
Well I dont love it but its ok. Reflections is good, but is not anywhere near her great ballads.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:17, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

90210

Sorry to change your edits of the first two episodes but the actual number for the two is 4.91 and not 4.65 because if you take the average of all the half hour ratings you get an average of 4.91, which is why the overnight average is also 4.91. This is a warning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99hgbh (talkcontribs) 21:49, 15 October 2010 (UTC)

Experience

Sure I'll give it a try :). Gimme a lil while :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:06, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

I really don't think so. I mean the album is in the top 100 in Amazon, and its still 2 weeks away. And in the top 130 in Itunes, and its the highest charting pre-order that is going to be released in November. Remember Christmas albums work very differently than regular albums. Once mid-November hits, Holiday stuff goes wild. Take last year for example, no joke this is what happened. Merry Christmas was in the top-30 in Itunes from mid-November-Christmas, and AIWFCIY was in the top-15 from mid-November until New Years. The day after New Years, I swear Jamie, it fell off the top-100 in one day. Holiday stuff is very drastic, very very drastic. "Oh Santa" will start charting and getting heard after the albums release, like in another month, you'll see, I kept track last year :). Remember, the real holiday stuff doesn't go wild until around 5-6 weeks until Christmas. Whats good is, while the album may have weakish first weak sales (maybe not), it will increase every following weak (happens to everyone, Josh Groban, MC). So it will experience very healthy sales throughout the next 2 months. :D. Just wait and see ;). Also, I just did the book thing. I did the best I could, it looks like mine. Hope thats good enough :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 21:51, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Your very welcome! :)
BTW, I'm starting Daydream now, and have a lot to write about. For some reason this album has a lot more to write about than the others. Wait till you see this one ;)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:11, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

'OTH'

Hey. I've been working on the Brooke Davis article (which I'm hoping can be improved so that it's not redirected) and I saw the recent stir over the One Tree Hill page. I've checked the sources, and the IP edits aren't vandalism. One source just links to the main page of a Website, which doesn't verify the claim about fans (the editor who included it should've found a specific page). The other source linked to a Mark Schwahn interview, which just stated that people were curious about the theme song.

Therefore, the whole "frustrated fans" claim could indeed be construed as fancruft or original research. So I made an edit to restore the previous version. "Montage" is also fine (since "credits" are the screen text). BTW, if anyone plans to work on the Brooke article, let me know. I may want to contribute if you and Flyer are involved. -- James26 (talk) 22:48, 18 October 2010 (UTC)

By all means, concentrate on Nathan first if you'd like. I'm just trying to do a few things here and there. Cheers. -- James26 (talk) 14:54, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
Not really. Just lending a hand to book articles and character pages now and then. Thanks. -- James26 (talk) 18:23, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

The Emancipation of Mimi/Merry Christmas II You

Hi Jamie, well theres a bit of an issue there. It is certified 3x platinum. The thing is the month it was certified in is not available by the CRIA. It was certified 3x P in December, which is unfortunately one of the only months not available. I have an official document the CRIA sent to me personally, if you would like to see it your welcome. Harout uploaded it for me, so you can ask him :). It shows exactly when and everything about her Canadian certifications. It shows how we don't have the right month available for it. Go ask, you'll see, he uploaded it for me :)

Also, I have a surprise for you. We heard 2 snippets of 2 songs (Little Drummer Boy/O Come All Ye Faithful) and (The First Noel/Born is the King) when Mariah was on HSN today. Here is "The First Noel" snippet and here is the "O Come All Ye Faithful" snippet. All I'm gonna say is amazing and very unexpected. Her vocals are the best since TOM, wait till you hear this! :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 21:14, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

Yup, its really exciting!
Yes as I told you, Harout uploaded it for me :p
He must have seen the ordeal on the article page. Hehehe, nothing gets by him! :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 12:44, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
Hahhaha yup! I ordered mine already :)
Yes, I thought that too, I mean how hard could it be to fix a damn site! I have friends that make them on their own in like 2 months lol.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 12:48, 21 October 2010 (UTC)
BTW, I just completely re-did Daydream :), go take a look. I think you should get started on "Can't Take That Away" or something :P--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 09:35, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Sorry

Sorry, I have no idea how I accidentally reverted edits on your page. I was typing, and thought I was in the search box. All of a sudden my screen said "Action completed" and I was thinking, "what action?" My greatest apologies, it was a complete accident. --Logical Fuzz (talk) 12:24, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

I can't see anything wrong :S, lol. Jayy008 (talk) 18:01, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

90210

Okay you well know that wasn't vandalism. So you just straight out embarrassed yourself. Please, lets be mature about this, something you should really take into mind. Want me to give you think for the actual meaning of vandalism? Did you forget what it meant or something? I don't really care. Anyways, what was added is unnecessary. People don't need to know the repeat episodes ratings. No one really cares honestly. C'mon, I thought you were smarter than that. CloudKade11 (talk) 22:31, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

By the way if you continue to add it, you will be reported this time for disruptive editing. Please take this into mind, and stop being so immature about all this. All I'm asking is to consider acting like a normal human being for once. Thanks. CloudKade11 (talk) 22:33, 22 October 2010 (UTC)
You really need help. Add Gossip Girl's repeat rating and I'll leave 90210's as it is. And if you don't reply I will continue to remove the idiotic detail and if you add it back without consulting me first, you will be reported. CloudKade11 (talk) 05:47, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Just so you know, I know exactly what your doing here. First of all you never reply with a valid response which makes me do something that you don't like. Second of all, you really need to grow up. I'm a new user, and I'm actually following another experienced user's actions. He too writes thing such as "no one cares", and people tend to leave it alone after that. And that user has been on Wikipedia for years with no problems whatsoever. I noticed your from Britain, and things might be different there than they here in the United States. I don't know, maybe "rudeness" means something else over there? I've never been, so I don't know. If anyone ever experienced such rudeness on here, they would tend to leave it alone and continue with the conversation. But you continue to add to the rudeness which makes everything much worse. Stop trying to make me look like the bad guy here with your immaturity and anger issues over me. I try to reason with you, but you just don't listen. After a few times, of course I'm going to get angry and say things I don't mean. But your so immature that you have to have things your way and make others the bad guy so you can feel good about yourself in the end. Please reply, so we can discuss this like two mature human beings. Don't go off reporting this message and change it up a bit so it can look like something that I didn't even say. CloudKade11 (talk) 19:40, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Mariah Carey

Hello, the article was promoted to FA long time ago (2006). There have been many changes in FA styles since. (I believe Mariah Carey article has possibility to lost its current star if we go to reassessment). You can take a look to recent FAs (like (Madonna, Janet Jackson, David Bowie), they only list studio albums, other releases can go to discography articles. See Wikipedia:Featured_articles#Music_biography for comparison. MaterialGirl77 (talk) 23:37, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

Images

Well the photo does illustrate who the article is about. There is nothing wrong wih someone else being in the picture. And yes those others are horrible. She had like no make-up on and looked so tired, she looked like she hadn't slept in days!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:17, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Yeah I remember that too, the photos are aweful! I don't care, I'm honestly getting sick on Wikipedia Bullshit. It pisses me off how stuff runs here. Honestly if they blockk me, I'll do everything I got to give em hell like before ;)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:29, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Trust me I know exactly what your saying, and I see what your saying. I mean I had "Number 1's" at FAC recently, and it was on there for 3 weeks and had "TBHotch's" support and thats it. I mean noone visits the FAC nomination page, so its hard. It just got closed and NOT promoted. WHy? Because not enough support to promote. I'm like WTF!? It has support and NO oppose, its not my fualt noone visits here. I'm pissed, that page could have easily been promoted. gotta start inviting people to review them! But not Unique, hes difficult and confused himself, and always winds up making my nominations more complicated lol!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:36, 23 October 2010 (UTC)
Yeah...Can you start giving your opinions on these thins? I mean you aren't a major contributor to her album pages, so be fair annd try to give your honest opinion and oppose or support :). BTW the albums disocgraphy is now FL :) thats some good news! You can start by reviewing the singles page bc I already got 2 supports and when I nominate Daydream :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:41, 23 October 2010 (UTC)

Hey Jamie, follow this link to the review page :). This is the FAC page, review the article and "Support" or "Oppose". Also, if you have certain concers, write them there and I'll address them! :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:55, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Hold on actually, I have to wait :(--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:59, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Viewing ratings

As a matter of interest, where is the rule about these? I looked but couldn't find it but that may just be my unfamiliarity with the TV side of things. Fainites barleyscribs 18:17, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Yes please. Sounds like it's more a custom than a rule. If it could be established one way or the other then there'd be one less thing to argue about! Fainites barleyscribs 19:08, 24 October 2010 (UTC)

Maintenance templates

See here If you think that one section of an article is too long, then the only options I can find--none of which are exactly what you are asking for--are {{Lead too long}}, {{Longish}}, {{Very long}}, and {{Section-diffuse}}. I suggest that you ask this at the village pump or help desk. —Justin (koavf)TCM22:26, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Also There's {{plot}}, which is similar to what you want... —Justin (koavf)TCM22:55, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Help Desk Question

P.S. You can often guess template names. If you want a name for a template for a section that's too long then type template: into the search bar. As you continue to type, the list will narrow down. If you typed template:too into the search bar then the template you require would be the fourth one on the list, after {{toomuchtrivia}}, {{toolbox}} and {{tools}}. Failing that, go to Google and search Wikipedia template section too long. Your first hit is the template you want. Fly by Night (talk) 23:14, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Gossip Girl

Ok, I did understand about Pifeedback, but why had you deleted all the overnight numbers? TyDwiki (talk) 16:10, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Ok, but what should we do to cover up all the blanks? TyDwiki (talk) 16:30, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry about that. I'm gonna start looking for a source for this episodes. TyDwiki (talk) 16:45, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Not actually. In the overnight numbers, it scored 2.16 million of viewers, but i checked the final numbers in Pifeedback and it was down to 1.83 million of viewers. TyDwiki (talk) 16:52, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

It's really easy to use this site, and i find references for most of the season. However, I didn't find any references for the episodes The Lady Vanished, The Empire Strikes Jack and the season finale, Last Tango, Then Paris. TyDwiki (talk) 20:10, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Like ~hugs~ explained below, the site compares the overnight of (example) episode 2 with the final number of episode 1. TyDwiki (talk) 20:30, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Well, it's not a blog neither a forum, so I think it's reliable. It was used on the Two and a Half Men's sixth season episodes ratings references, so I pretty sure it's okay. TyDwiki (talk) 20:34, 2 November 2010 (UTC)

Jayy008 & TyDwiki, it is not often used but how about yourentertainmentnow? While it is not my go-to source you can get finals for most nights if you know how to read the data presented. [3] In that you have the overnight numbers for ggs4e03 compared to the finals for ggs4e02. That overnights are compared to finals, ummm.... i'll take what i can get. I find it comes in handy when you are lacking final numbers for an episode or two but have the rest from TVBTN, ABC Medianet, or CBS Press Express. In this case TVBTN didn't include finals until what was gg's 3rd episode of the season. With the YEN reference the title will say the air date for episode 3 when you are using it to reference episode 2. Potential for confusion is higher than normal. It happened on Lie to me* a few months ago. For a lot of searching regarding PIFeedback and Ghost Whisperer this is the only other site to consistently have the data available. delirious & lost~hugs~ 21:47, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
Presentation of this conversation is a little awkward but i think there is some confusion about YEN's ratings info. If you look at the results for 20 September [4] you find the overnight 2.16m for the 20th and the final 1.96m for the 13th. When you look at the results for 27 September [5] you find the overnight 1.97m for the 27th and the final 1.83m for the 20th. If you are ever uncertain about it then it can't hurt to see what finals are posted for a particular day on pifeedback, or check on YEN or TVBTN for the previous episode's overnight numbers. It is not as blunt as TVBTN's "here are the finals" entires but then you are looking for data for dates not covered by TVBTN. If you are still uncertain about it then don't use it. It is an option i thought to mention but it can be a confusing site to mine data from.
A change from 2.16m to 1.83m is a high percentage of total viewers for the episode but it is not an uncommon type of change. The less viewed shows tend to have some of the largest percentage change in viewers from overnight to final data. Knocking off 400K from the overnight is fairly common. When you have only 2160K to begin with that 400K looks really big.
I think that is the first time someone has called me "~hugs~" :D delirious & lost~hugs~ 06:27, 3 November 2010 (UTC)

Hey Jamie, so yeah its kind of simple. You have to kind of write a formula. I'm going to show you mine, so you can build around it, thats what I did, I stole someone else's and changed it ;). Mine is CallMeNathanTalk2Me. So you can only have 3 sections to your name (there isn't room for more) so for me for example, CallMe is 1, Nathan is 2 and Talk2Me is 3. After that you choose font and color. Press edit so you see the formula of my signature :). If its still confusing I'll help you, this should be enough :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:19, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Alrighty :). I'll give you the formula and you'll stick it into your preferences. Hold on, which green? Also, what font would you like?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:53, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Ok, so tell me if this is what you like, don't worry about the "Jayy008" part that doesn't blend, that'll fix once its in the preferences. So do you like this JLC talk ? Tell me if you want something different :).--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:11, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Okay so you don't like the Italic? so then here JLC contact me. Good?--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:23, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Hows this? JLC contactme. --CallMeNathanTalk2Me 18:14, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
You have to put it into your preferences :p. It should work just like that. JLC contactme

--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 23:32, 4 November 2010 (UTC)

Whay didn't you change your signature!? It works, I did it :s--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:55, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh know not you too?

oh dear. i guess that makes two of us? -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 00:19, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Trust me guys, if my love for Mariah wasn't so strong, I would have retired looong ago. Wikipedia and its unfair BS policies make me SICK!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 01:04, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
I'm semi-retiring for a combination of what you said and what Nathan has said. Someone said to me the other day... "Wow you're like my school teacher but better. You're so helpful and you revert lots of vandalism". It made me think... sheesh! I've let wikipedia become to much of a big part of my life. 2nd year of uni is a lot of work and the thing is wikipedia is like an extra-extra curricular activity so its gonna be one of the first things to get the chop. I just can't be doing with all the BS... when there's a lot in realife. Take now for example... I had to see the doctor last night because apparently I have an small infection :(, then I'm supposed to be going on a 'date' with someone tonight (taking 'em to watch the fireworks if it stops raining), then over the weekend I have psychometric testing to do for a placement i applied for, got group presentation to deliver for next thursday then next friday I have an assessment/interview day. YIKES o_O -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 17:52, 5 November 2010 (UTC)
Oooooh, Unique :) Have fun on your date ;). "Cause baby your a firework, cmon show her what your worth, make her go oh oh oooohhhhh :D. I totally agree BTW, its very time consuming, and for what? To get NO support from anyone. No joke every positive thing I try I get bashed from all sides, its Whack!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 03:04, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Well guys it didnt go as planned. When my date arrived tonight she was like "its so nice to come out with a friend i just met and watch the fireworks" and to make matters worse she kept giving me mixed signals. I went home after she said "im glad we're friends, I'm excited to be able to tell you I've got a date for Monday night." :'(. Jay apart from being busy (and the non-date) I'm generally good... just finding my feet. Wbu? Oh I didn't know you'd starting working? Is it good? -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 04:35, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Cheers buddy. I just think with everything going on its probably better I'm not in a relationship because I wouldn't really have time for my other half. Aww that's good. Its always good to start somewhere and build up some experience. I don't know bout you but I'm considering full retirement. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 20:21, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

On a side note... did you ever here Mariah Carey - H.A.T.E.U. (Chew Fu's Stop Hatin' Fix) remix? -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 23:17, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

It has the makings to be a good official remix. Its made me made that HATEU was never properly released. It coulda and shoulda made waves with a proper video and good promo internationally. -- Lil_℧niquℇ №1 | talk2me 23:21, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

One Tree Hill/Gossip Girl

I already did, You're welcome. Now can you please find a reference for Gossip Girl's season 3 finale? I know it's 1.96 million viewers, but i can't find it anywhere, neither on Your Entertainment Now. TyDwiki (talk) 16:27, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Gossip Girl episodes

There's been a discussion related to Gossip Girl having a article in most of the episodes, and some people said that the show isn't that notable to have a article in every single episode. So, I think it's better remove somes because doing a article for the remaining episodes it's a lot of work. What's your opinion? TyDwiki (talk) 20:10, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

The discussion is on the List of Gossip Girl episodes' discussion page. Thank you for the redirecting, I'm gonna do the same with other episodes. At least the season premiere and the season finale will remain, right? TyDwiki (talk) 01:22, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

Re: Gossip Girl References

Hope you don't mind, I'm just a reference freak. References are one of my favorite things to do! I love the {{cite}} template! --Logical Fuzz (talk) 00:48, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
P.S. Saw you removed my (screwed up) "citation needed". Sorry about that, I didn't catch it elsewhere while I was formatting. :( --Logical Fuzz (talk) 00:50, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
P.P.S. Since you are a main contributor on that page, do you have a preference on how the access date ("Retrieved") is formatted in the references? There seems to be about a 50/50 mix of "February 1, 2010" versus "2010-2-1". For now, I've been leaving them as a mix--as however they were originally added. Do you have preference? --Logical Fuzz (talk) 01:37, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Gossip Girl DVR Ratings

I've recently found references for like 6 episodes of Gossip Girl (season 3)'s Live + DVR Ratings. I Was wondering if it's okay if I posted them in the article. What's your opinion on that? TyDwiki (talk) 14:11, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

So can I create a new section with the episode title, the live viewers and the DVD ratings? TyDwiki (talk) 14:30, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Can I use the numbers I saw on Pifeedback? That doesn't necessarilly means that I'm gonna use this site/forum as a reference. What do you think? TyDwiki (talk) 14:34, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

I can't use this as a reference? : http://pifeedback.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/495108451/m/716102851/p/3 TyDwiki (talk) 14:42, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Well, then I'm gonna use the ones I find in Tv by the Numbers for some of the third season episodes. Thanks anyway. I appreciate your opinion. TyDwiki (talk) 14:44, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Could you please find any DVR Rating for season 1 or 2? TyDwiki (talk) 15:17, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Thanks anyway TyDwiki (talk) 15:20, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Gossip Girl's articles

Hi, I was wondering what do you think about we creating full synopsis for the four seasons of Gossip Girl like in the List of The Vampire Diaries episodes and List of Supernatural episodes? TyDwiki (talk) 01:47, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

I was talking about the episodes summary, but your idea is good too! TyDwiki (talk) 02:54, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

I was meaning that besides from copying press releases or episodes summaries from other websites, we could create a synopsis for the full episode like they do in the List of The Vampire Diaries episodes and List of Supernatural episodes. TyDwiki (talk) 15:27, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

You know what, I think it's better for we to stick with the DVR numbers because re-creating a synopsis for every single episode is a lot of work. TyDwiki (talk) 15:56, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

I was just wondering if you are going to remove the Vampire Diaries' DVR numbers? TyDwiki (talk) 19:12, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh, ok, I get it know. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. TyDwiki (talk) 19:21, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Re:Mariah Carey

I didn't mean by stating at the end of that edit summary that the article is unreadable with punctuation included inside the quotation marks, I meant that it was still readable either way, and that if it were something that somehow hindered its readability, I could understand the reversion. I suppose it comes down to personal preference, but on most Mariah Carey articles, punctuation is placed outside the quotes, so it was also somewhat a matter of consistency. I personally use punctuation outside the quotation marks because it sometimes seems confusing whether the punctuation is actually supposed to be part of the title. I only like to put inside quotes what is actually part of the title. If it's an actual quote from, for example, a review, then I leave the punctuation in, unless it's just using one word, like, Sally Smith described the album as "tacky". So, I don't know which way to go about this. Ss112 10:58, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

It's apparently American English to place punctuation inside quotation marks even if they're not part of the quote itself; the article on quotation marks says: "The other standard style—called British style or logical punctuation[12]—is to include within quotation marks only those punctuation marks that appeared in the quoted material, but otherwise to place punctuation outside the closing quotation marks", which is what I go by. I know readability had nothing to do with it. I was only saying what I meant by that edit summary. Most artists' pages have punctuation outside the quotes, though, so it would seem kind of odd to have one article, in this case Mariah's Merry Christmas, using them inside. Even the article isn't 100% consistent. Ss112 15:47, 16 November 2010 (UTC)

Firework

Why do you say the image used in "Firework" can not be clamed under fair-use? Alecsdaniel (talk) 15:00, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

About my work

Its been some time I'm trying to contribute to wikipedia, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it's just so hard to take that nobody is letting me do a single thing and nobody is explaining or considering what I'm trying to say. You have recently deleted the pages I created about Damon and Stefan Salvatore, please I'd just like to have their pages separately, since the show is getting ahead. Could you please just do that and let me know what else i have to do. Thanks. Nasirakd (talk) 16:54, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Is it possible that maybe somebody else could work on that and I'll be constantly working on the story and all that? One more thing is that, the picture that I uploaded for Damon Salvatore page, I don't know how to explain if the picture was from google, and are the pictures from google search allowed? if so what category do they go under? Nasirakd (talk) 17:28, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Alright. I appreciate your reply, could I count on you for help for future contributions? Did you had same problems back when you were new to wikipedia contributions? It's just that I've had several reverts from others that now I'm feeling quite discouraged but I really want to make it work. Nasirakd (talk) 19:27, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi, it just so I noticed you never told me that did you had problems with making contributions and then getting cleaned up in the beginnings when you first started contributing. Nasirakd (talk) 18:46, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

I suppose that you've certainly got over that problem but its nice to have to somebody for help for someone like me in this place. I intend to become a big contributor however. Nasirakd (talk) 19:13, 7 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. Nasirakd (talk) 18:21, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Nice cleanup ;). It explains the reason why I decided to restore the disputed redirect rather than leave such a garbled mess topped in a main name-space. The chart statistics were the least of my concern. Cheers!  -- WikHead (talk) 21:09, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

I have in the past, spent a lot of time cleaning up horrible messes like that, only to return the following day and see that they've been redirected again. I guess that makes me a bit hesitant to really apply myself to articles with a history of uncertain stability like this one. Regardless, best of luck with all your efforts living a long, happy wiki-life. Good job. Happy editing! :).  -- WikHead (talk) 21:53, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Accessible sources

Hi, Jayy008. I saw your edit summary here and comment here about accessibility to sources. Although we require all text be verifiable, easy access or using only non-fee sources is not required. Pay sites are acceptable (See WP:PAYWALL) -- that is, as long as they meet our RS standards . I don't have an opinion about this particular cite (of course, numbers from Billboard certainly meet the reliability test and are used in many articles), but you may wish to redact your edits and ask for clarification on the talk page from the editor rather than make a blanket deletion. Cheers. CactusWriter (talk) 16:40, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Okay. Thanks for the quick response -- and at the user's page. I wouldn't use the term "fake" in this situation, since it implies hoax vandalism and is interpreted by some users as a provocative non-AGF word. On the other hand, the links are bad and do require clarification. Good luck with sorting it out:) CactusWriter (talk) 21:05, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

V Nielsen ratings

Hello, I didn't want to revert the edits you made, but I believe you made a mistake by changing the numbers. I had it split into both 2009 and 2010, because as far I can tell, I can't find a source that states the overall viewership for the entire first season. The reference lists V twice—at #34 with 9.747 million viewers (for 2009) and then at #89 with 5.718 million viewers (for its remaining episodes when it returned in 2010). You changed it to the latter viewing figures, which only represents 8 of its 12 episodes. Drovethrughosts (talk) 17:52, 28 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for your understanding, I reverted it back. :) Drovethrughosts (talk) 21:04, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
