Re-August 2013
[edit]Please except my apologizes if I did anything wrong by editing the link that leads to much better explained Devil May Cry story wikia page. I figured out that i accidentally added link in wrong way that I wanted to lead to the wikia page I mentioned and not to disrupt your information base or not to accuse you for information's for even you are not sure about. I just wanted to add new info on this page and in one moment I found out that I don't have the access to change the "Devil May Cry series fictional chronology" table plate list that is in "Series plot" section. I got to conclusion, as many other people that accepted, that Devil May Cry 4 story plot is placed before the Devil May Cry 2 story in storyline, as that means that the anime series are but between the first and the fourth Devil May Cry games releases. Please consider my conclusion to be the real one because there couldn't be the better and more realistic answer to mixed up storyline of Devil May Cry games and anime series as wikia stated, too. - The fact that Devil May Cry 4 is listed at the end is because the Capcom did state in 2008 with G4TV it takes place after DMC1 and DMC2. Even the character designer said he made Dante older than in previous games to show he is more experienced. On the other hand, Wikia's article has no source backing up such information.Tintor2 (talk) 04:24, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- The thing is that even Capcom didn't know what they're doing by releasing the Devil May Cry 4. What I wanted to say is that they wanted to continue the storyline further but forgot the Devil May Cry 2. Everyone makes mistakes. In the Devil May Cry 2 Dante unlocks all of his Devil Trigger powers and the fly ability his Devil Trigger has. Next is that Dante has one more Devil Trigger that can be used when his health is at red and it's called Majin or Desperate Devil Trigger which has unlimited power and brings to plate that this is his last evolution of his Devil Trigger (even stronger that Sparda). On the other side, Devil May Cry 4 Dante has simple Devil Trigger that can't even fly (Air Raid) like Devil May Cry 1, Devil May Cry 2 and Devil May Cry 3 could, and Dante looks much older and mature in Devil May Cry 2 that in Devil May Cry 4. Dante even talks normally, shorter, with less funny stuff and much mature in Devil May Cry 2 than sarcastic and funnier Devil May Cry 4 Dante. Don't forget that Devil May Cry 4 didn't explained that "Did Dante returned from the Demon World or not?" and how he did it (the motorcycle heard outside of his office CAN be him, but no one explained anything, only Lucia running out of his office and that's all), also where is Lucia in the Devil May Cry 4 then? There was no reason not to put Lucia in the Devil May Cry 4. Explain all of that to me which I wrote. There are more that one fact as you see that puts Devil May Cry 2 on the fourth place in storyline for sure so please consider that as my help and you will see that Capcom will update storyline plot as I and many other people conclude and agree.Jozma7 (talk) 08:48, 25 August 2013 (UTC+1)
- Dante's actor says that the staff does not want to bring up DMC2 due to its disappointing quality which would explain why they never mentioned Lucia again. Even Kamiya tried to deny DMC2 by making Dante acting as if the main character was actually Enzo in the PS2 port of Viewtiful Joe. Besides Dante's amulet had the power to protect him in the demon world so he could leave the area like the original Dante from Divina Comedia. Who else would leave with the motorcylce?
Also, Capcom already said DMC4 takes place after DMC1 and DMC2 here so we have a WP:Reliable source referencing the storyline's order.Tintor2 (talk) 15:04, 25 August 2013 (UTC)
- Sorry, but I need to crush your thought. This game already exists and it's called "DEVIL MAY CRY "2""!!! Capcom or anyone cannot just get rid of this game, it exists for a long time now and it's even remade in HD for the Devil May Cry HD Collection. I and maaaany other thing that the DMC2 is great game and has great story, it's short, classic, Dante speaks only some few words (some of the words he could say better, but that makes no such problem) and acts cool cause he is demon slayer and he doesn't need to play and bee super sarcastic like before because he matured and looks much mature than DMC4 Dante. DMC2 presents the lost story of Dante that is happening somewhere in the future. To explain DMC2, DMC4 was created (what I think). DMC4 continues few years after anime series, after few changes happened that needs to be explained (nothing special, just can be filled with some more anime which would be great(I wanted to say: a great hole for anime series to continue)). Now DMC4 needs to be continued to some few more game(s) or story releases (at least one) so it could explain something more about Nero's and Dante's history. For example the 5th game release could talk about fighting some evil (which is not important right now) and at the same time Dante and Nero could explain their pasts or we could see their thoughts in some cutscenes (something like DmC explains it's version of the story). Also there could be three parts of that game, one to explain the new stories, other to explain Dante's past (Vergil could be included at the same time) till the DMC3 and the last to explain Nero's past. Now, at the end of the game, Dante will go on a mission alone to slain some more evil and disappear without a clue for some time (to explain DMC2), but he will leave the message, for example: "I have some business to finish. Don't miss me and don't cry like devils don't, cause I'll be back baby! signed Dante" blablanlaaa. After DMC5, it could be much more clearer why DMC2 exists and DMC6 could talk about new future that is in front of the DMC series, or could be the last game in the series. After this all I talked about, there could be some special edition sequel like "Devil May Cry The Story of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda" or some arcade game with all characters, abbilities and weapons like KONAMI made Castlevania Judgement. My final words are that it's not on actors or designers to judge about their creation or their act, they only do their job and it's on us to decide if it's okay or not. Capcom needs to listen to their fans if they want to make thinks better, for example they didn't made HD Collection for PC. If Capcom makes another huge mistake, that would be certain end to DMC. How saaad :) .Jozma7 (talk) 15:16, 26 August 2013 (UTC+1)
