Rugby league articles[edit]

You are currently creating a number of articles on rugby league seasons, teams, and players. While you are contributing a lot of effort and are creating factual articles, the subjects of most of these articles probably is not suitable for Wikipedia. Wikipedia has some minimal notability standards, and subjects which haven't received considerable attention from reliable, independent sources (like newspapers, magazines, ...) should not have articles here. The players are quite definitively not notable enough, and I have serious doubts about the season articles and the teams. These are amateur teams and competitions in a clearly professional sport. Fram (talk) 13:39, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your response. I'll hold of of the non-player articles for now, to give you a fair chance of improving them. Fram (talk) 19:24, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Midlands 3 West (North)[edit]

Nuvola apps important.svg

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Midlands 3 West (North), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Midlands 3 West (South). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 11:37, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:RRRFCLogo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:RRRFCLogo.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Proposed deletion of 2009-10 Owen Cup[edit]

Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article 2009-10 Owen Cup has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable local rugby competition. Article does not provide context to what it is about.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
