Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to List of Girl Meets World episodes has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 00:19, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, KenandLauriee, does not meet our username policy.
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Longhair\talk 00:19, 1 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (season 14). Your edits continue to appear to constitute vandalism and have been automatically reverted.

  • If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • ClueBot NG makes very few mistakes, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been considered as unconstructive, please read about it, report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • If you need help, please see our help pages, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, please feel free to place {{Help me}} on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (season 14) was changed by LAURIEE01 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.911564 on 2018-06-02T06:05:41+00:00 .

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Justin ellings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. power~enwiki (π, ν) 17:59, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, LAURIEE01. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Justin ellings, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 18:30, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Talk:Justin ellings while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 21:49, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for letting me know, it was an accident I tried to fix a post while logged out. Trying to figure out how this all works, I am doing my best, but seem to be failing. Now my page is deleted, this has been a difficult process, wish I understood it all :) LAURIEE01 (talk) 22:38, 4 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest and notability

[edit]

There is off-wiki evidence to suggest that you are a relative of Justin Ellings, which makes your writing about him a conflict of interest. If true, you should be transparent about this connection. Also, if you are representing his interests in a professional capacity and receiving financial compensation, it is mandatory that you disclose this information per Wikipedia's paid editing disclosure rules. In either case, you should not be editing Wikipedia with the intent of using it for publicity and promotion, as this is expressly disallowed per Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not.

Please note that Wikipedia does not have articles about up and coming people or things. Actors must be already notable per Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Entertainers, and notability must be proven by citing in-depth coverage from multiple reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Academic and mainstream journalistic sources are preferred because they have established reputations for fact-checking and editorial oversight.

This disqualifies any self-published sources like blogs, press releases, message forums and social media sites. Interviews with the subject are also not considered reliable, and passing mentions are not considered sufficiently in-depth. Finally, the IMDb is considered unreliable in most cases, since its content is mostly user-generated and uncurated. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:49, 6 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:RHaworth, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:32, 11 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
