Hello, Kepler-1229b, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Kepler-577b (talk · contribs) and Gj3470b (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you.

With the work you're putting in on this, do you think we should merge the articles? It doesn't seem to make much sense to have a separate article about the exoplanet when it turns out not even to be an exoplanet. As a red dwarf, it wouldn't seem to be independently notable. Sockpuppet investigation
An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Kepler-577b, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Looks like you stumbled into a bit of trouble
Hi Kepler-1229b, I do believe you have do not have intent in causing any harm to Wikipedia and are an enthusiastic new editor, which is good. My best advice to read through some of the material in the Welcome message above, communicate and take on board guidance given by experienced editors. If you have questions or need help, you can ask at the Teahouse. Wish you a Happy New Year! S0091 (talk) 16:06, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
- I second that sentiment. You clearly have a great deal of enthusiasm, but much of it is being wasted at the moment. You are creating multiple pointlessly short one-sentence articles about objects of dubious WP:NOTABILITY, not providing WP:RELIABLE sources to demonstrate any notability that they might have, and making a hash of the article layouts. Most of them are going to get deleted, or at best shunted into drafts. Perhaps a little time spent reading the guidelines, or just watching and learning what has to be done to create a useful article, will make your life a lot smoother. Or use the WP:AFC process which comes complete with helpful feedback before an article gets dumped into mainspace and then deleted because it wasn't ready. Lithopsian (talk) 20:43, 31 December 2020 (UTC)
S Ori 52 moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, S Ori 52, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. KMT-2019-BLG-2073
I have moved the article you created to Draft:KMT-2019-BLG-2073. This is because the only support for the existence comes from a single journal paper that has not yet passed peer-review. There is a preprint, but that is essentially self-published and does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for a WP:RELIABLE source. It is a little worrying that so long has passed since the creation of the preprint, that suggests difficulties in the peer review. Hardly surprising since extraordinary claims need extraordinary evidence. Strictly there should be multiple WP:SECONDARY sources to demonstrate notability, but we often rely heavily on primary sources for scientific articles. Still, until there is at least one article published in a peer-reviewed journal, we can't have it. To save it just being deleted, I have moved it to WP:DRAFTSPACE. It can be developed into a properly-sourced article from there and then moved back when it meets the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia. However if it sits untouched then it may get deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Kepler-560b
Hello, Kepler-1229b,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username John B123, and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged Kepler-560b for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. You may find our guide for writing quality articles to be extremely informative. Also, you may want to consider working on future articles in draft space first, where they cannot be deleted for lacking content.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|John B123}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited PA-99-N2, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andromeda. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Links to draft articles
Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Kepler-443b. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:50, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Minor planet artcles
Hi,
I've noticed you've been making a large number of (often drastic) changes to the infobox colors and images of minor planet and satellite articles such as 514107 Kaʻepaokaʻawela, Weywot (moon), and 2018 VG18. I also see that you've been mass-creating redirects solely because of your extension to Template:Minor planets navigator.
I advise you to try to not do that without the consensus of other editors. It is best to notify other users involved in the relevant WikiProjects (WP:ASTRO and WP:SOLAR) before you carry out your systematic changes.
Thank you. Nrco0e (talk · contribs) 18:26, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
Minor planets
Thank you for adding infoboxes for 2008 VL14 and 2015 XJ351. However, all those citations you added were completely redundant and can be shortened down by including a refname <ref name="jpldata"/> instead. I strongly suggest you read the Wikipedia Manual of Style at WP:MOS and citation guide at WP:REF to help you with citing references. And make sure to always write minor planet provisional designations as {{mp|2008 VL|14}} instead of using the templates for subscripts. I hope this helps. Happy editing! C/2012 S4
C/2012 S4 does not take 127 million years to orbit the Sun. Aphelion is listed at 504,000 AU (7.97 ly) even though the outer edge of the Oort cloud only extends to about 100,000 AU (1.6 ly). The Sun orbits the galaxy in ~250 million years. So please to not list any perihelion passage more than ~1000 years into the future as such values are normally going to be worthless. The real orbital period for 2012S4 is closer to 150000 years anyway. -- Kheider (talk) 08:31, 13 January 2021 (UTC)
