October 2017[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm CLCStudent. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Terminator (franchise) have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. CLCStudent (talk) 00:11, 16 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. --Yamla (talk) 16:32, 17 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Which article?[edit]

Mr, GnomeSweetGnome, which article do you exactly thought when you sent a message about disruptive editing because I made correct edits without vandalism. Khufd (talk) 17:55, 27 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This edit is untrue because the film never gave an opening date. This edit is also original research. You need to stop adding your own opinions to articles. GnomeSweetGnome (talk) 16:27, 28 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Data on Halloween series[edit]

For the first one, I will delete it. But for second one, however, is not original research. It is actually from Halloween wiki from Fandom website and there is a small article about it. You can check it freelly on web, just go on Google, type halloween wiki and you will see the word Fandom along with those two words above. It's not a joke. Khufd (talk) 14:17, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Wikis are not reliable sources and use of User generated content is unacceptable. Wikipedia needs to be verifiable and opinions put forth on other wikis aren't. GnomeSweetGnome (talk) 15:15, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

About the wikipedia rule[edit]

So you think that is all lie seen in fandom wikis? That rule in wikipedia is a bit questionable (it depends on some things) and you should think about it again what I said before. I am far more serious, constructive and I research more than you think. Look again into those other wikis related to other franchises (movies, TV shows and games) and realise about it. If you don't like it, fine, but at least think what I said. I don't want vandalize or even pollute some content, only what I think is objective, right and correct. Original research or not, what is correct, it is correct; what is wrong, is wrong. I will not do original research on wiki pages, of course, but if it is something that is not always original research, than it should be put on page. Or not, if it's something wrong. But sometimes, there is big line between verifiable sources and original research and vice-versa and should be taken seriously, sometimes even thinking and questioning of those two things. I think the other users should learn from my experience and talk between me and you and, if they want, take this wise cue from this debate. Or not. I was active on wiki long before logging in, about 2-3 years, mostly fixing grammatical mistakes, but sometimes adding new things. For second article, then let it be what you made...but also think about what I wrote. Khufd (talk) 23:32, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't say all fandom wikis are lies I said they aren't verifiable. What you added wasn't even stated in the wiki so it doesn't matter anyway. Wikipedia isn't simply about what is correct which is why original research isn't allowed. The ability to verify facts is what matters. This isn't an issue just between you and I. You have multiple warnings for the same actions in other articles. Please stop adding personal views to articles no matter how true you believe them to be. If you don't have a reliable source then don't add it. GnomeSweetGnome (talk) 23:37, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Answer[edit]

Fine...but there is some truth what I said. Khufd (talk) 23:41, 29 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (film). When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Information icon Hello, I'm Ferret. I noticed that you recently removed content from Battlefield 1942 without adequately explaining why. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Spin-off (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Request reason:

I deleted this from article COD:WWII because I thought being as inappropriate and irrelevant to this article as a whole, probably also as being bit sensitive as well. Maybe for other users and Ferret deleting is not constructive unlike me, but either case, then I will not touch this in exchange for returning unblock rights.

Decline reason:

This is not about a single edit. It's about a pattern of disruptive edits. Yamla (talk) 00:08, 22 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Information icon Hello, I'm SummerPhDv2.0. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Man of Steel (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Ghostbusters: The Video Game, you may be blocked from editing. Do not remove maintenance templates without either addressing the issue or explaining why the issue is not relevant. I see you have had trouble with this in the past. When a fact is tagged as needing a citation, an editor is challenging the statement and requesting as citation, as explained at WP:V. Your options at that point are to remove the statement as unsourced, add a citation to a reliable source or leave it as it is. SummerPhDv2.0 22:08, 24 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Copying within Wikipedia[edit]

Smile emoji Hi Khufd! Thank you for your edits to List of minor DC Comics characters. It looks like you've copied or moved text from one or more pages into that page, and while you are welcome to do so, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 17:25, 28 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Adding on to the above, there's no need to create "backup"s of Wikipedia articles, since Wikipedia admins can restore any deleted content (see WP:REFUND for instance). If there is a consensus to delete the content, then creating "backup"s on Wikipedia won't help you anyway, much like "backing up" a file on your PC by creating a copy on the same PC is of no use. Better to "backup" to a wikia, such as DC Database.--Martin IIIa (talk) 01:17, 22 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Jungle Book[edit]

Hi, that is very close to outright edit warring. If you had been a new user I'd issue a level 3 warning for it. The punctuation of the captions is simply contrary to policy: we only add full stops to complete sentences, as you can readily verify from the MOS.
