[edit]Thanks for uploading File:51Degrees logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:24, 1 August 2016 (UTC)
The article 51degrees has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Company does not meet the notability criteria for companies or the general notability guidelines. I have only been able to turn up one independent source that mentions the company [1], and it's a trivial mention.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Joe Roe (talk) 23:50, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/51degrees, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Joe Roe (talk) 11:05, 8 September 2016 (UTC)
Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/51degrees. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Joe Roe (talk) 21:59, 9 September 2016 (UTC)

Foul play?
[edit]Really? "Foul play"? What exactly do you think is going on here, that volunteer editors of the world's largest encyclopaedia are part of a sinister conspiracy against a small software company in Reading? There are conflicting reasons because it's a discussion; different people are different opinions. We have articles on DeviceAtlas and WURFL because, unfortunately, standards are not always consistently applied. They might not be notable, but your nominating WURFL looks very much like disrupting Wikipedia to make a point rather than a good faith attempt to improve the encyclopaedia. Continuing to act like that will get you swiftly banned.
Look, it's quite obvious you have some sort of personal connection to 51degrees and you thought you could circumvent our conflict of interest policy and use Wikipedia to promote it. It didn't work. Please have the grace to move on rather than throwing a hissy fit. We see—and delete—this kind of thing hundreds of times a day, it's nothing personal. Joe Roe (talk) 14:27, 11 September 2016 (UTC)
