License tagging for File:Prakash Bare new.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Prakash Bare new.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:05, 27 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for message. Following its nomination as an advert by KJP1, I deleted your article because

  • it did not provide independent verifiable sources to enable us to verify the facts and show that it meets the notability guidelines. Sources that are not acceptable include those linked to an organisation, press releases, YouTube, IMDB, social media and other sites that can be self-edited, blogs, websites of unknown or non-reliable provenance, and sites that are just reporting what the organisation claims or interviewing its management. Most of your text was entirely unsourced except for the "Reviews" section, where the references were spamlinks to interviews with the producer saying how great his play is. Note that references should be in-line so we can tell what fact each is supporting, and should not be bare urls
  • It's not clear to me why this production is notable as defined above
  • it was written in a promotional tone. Articles must be neutral and encyclopaedic.
  • Examples of unsourced or self-sourced claims presented as fact include: It is a dark, multi-layered psychological thriller that succinctly portrays our contemporary political milieu... it is a gripping tale of murder and mayhem... With the nuanced use of text, striking use of scenography, and elements of surrealism the play manifests as a scathing political commentary on the horrors of fascism. Potently philosophical in nature, this political allegory seeks to violently disrupt our notions of reality, forcing us to rethink our essentialised understanding of truth. and so on, it's a promotional blurb, not an article.
  • The treatment section is promotional without a single fact, just your opinions. This isn't a "post your own review" site
  • there shouldn't be any url links in the article, only in the "References" or "External links" sections. That's particularly the case when they are spamlinks to affiliated sites. What could be more obvious spam than a teaser video? Also, you shouldn't link to YouTube anyway
  • If you have a conflict of interest when editing this article, you must declare it. If you work directly or indirectly for the organisation, or otherwise are acting on its behalf, you are very strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. If you are paid directly or indirectly by the organisation you are writing about, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kkraju4u. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kkraju4u|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If you are being compensated, please provide the required disclosure. Note that editing with a COI is discouraged, but permitted as long as it is declared. Concealing a COI can lead to a block. Please do not edit further until you respond to this message.

Before attempting to write an article again, please make sure that the topic meets the notability criteria linked above, and check that you can find independent third party sources. Also read this important guidance. You must also reply to the COI request above Jimfbleak - talk to me? 07:27, 4 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The file File:Kaattu Vithachavar.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Image is a movie still. Claim that the uploader is the copyright holder would need ITS confirmation.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File source problem with File:Prakash Bare new.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Prakash Bare new.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
