Welcome!

Hello, Kmcneil, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  --Slgrandson 18:30, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

Star Trek: The Animated Series[edit]

Please don't change the dates unless you can prove them. Sites like tv.com & epguides.com give the correct dates of these episodes. Hundreds of users use these sites and information is often verified. Thank you. — Flag of Ottawa, Ontario.svg Flag of Ontario.svg Flag of Canada.svg nathanrdotcom (Got something to say? Your comments on my talk page.[edit]

In regards to your recent edits on my talk page, I feel I have to point out:
It is important to keep a cool head, despite any comments against you. Personal attacks and disruptive comments only escalate a situation; please keep calm and action can be taken against the other parties if necessary. Your involvement in attacking back can only satisfy trolls or anger contributors, and lead to general bad feeling. Please try to remain civil with your comments. Thanks! If you cannot maintain a civil tone, please do not post on my talk page. You are being formally warned not to continue this behaviour. Please stop.

Please remember to sign all of your posts on talk pages. Typing four tildes after your comment ( ~~~~ ) will insert a signature showing your username and a date/time stamp, which is very helpful.

Image Tagging for Image:News 655.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:News 655.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Orphaned non-free media (File:Wphl1980.jpg)[edit]

Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading File:Wphl1980.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 06:07, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

March 2010[edit]

Information.svg Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Template:Streets in Toronto, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 01:40, 14 March 2010 (UTC)

August 2010[edit]

Information.svg Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to the page Talk:Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (TV series). Blank pages can confuse readers, and are overall not helpful to the Wikipedia project; furthermore, blanking a page is not the same as deleting it.

If the article you blanked is a duplicate of another article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate revision. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please use the appropriate deletion process. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (TV series)[edit]

Please don't "move" articles by cutting and pasting. Articles should be moved properly in order to keep the edit history of a page intact. --AussieLegend (talk) 11:12, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 18[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Deadly Ernest, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page John Byrne (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disambiguation link notification for February 6[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mary Charlotte Wilcox, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages SCTV and It Takes a Thief (TV series) (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
