It was because both movies released in 2020, one was through an ott platform called mainstream tv and the movie was konnapookkalum mampazhavum

Another movie called love was released in United Arab Emirates last year

Kenjira is actually not a malayalam language movie

It is a paniya language movie, Paniya language is spoke among adivasi people in Wayanad district of Kerala, it is for the first time a paniya language film is been seen Kothottil Karpoorada (talk) 11:21, 18 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kenjira wass considered as Malayalam film by Kerala Government for state awards since Paniya is officially a dialect of Malayalam. So we can include it in the list.

I have deleted Idam movie from 2021 list, it is because the movie was released last year on 24 th August 2020 through Mubi.com OTT Platform and also the movie was available in YouTube since last year

I have used a reference and also mentioned the reason and further release dates through list of malayalam films 2020 wiki page, you can refer though

Also I have deleted Third World Boys from the list as the movie was released in 2021 as Amrita TV has rescheduled Onam movies list and now the movie is not there for tomorrow August 20 2021

However, if we remove some content and then don't provide Edit summary, users will not understand the reason for the content removal and also could consider (by Bots mainly) as 'Unexplained removal of sourced content'. Release dates of some films

Swapnangalkkappuramreleased on 30-Aug on Action Prime as per their FB page (please check their FB page). Seems like the films were not released according to their earlier announcement. Going by this, not sure whether Kaalchilambu premiered yet or not. I doubt whether Kanthan - The Lover of Colours and Akatho Puratho are first time release on OTT now, as these movie files are available in net from last year. However I do't know where these films released digitally before.

What's wrong with Action OTT, when I checked their website they have given such a date, and yes Swargangalkkapuram was informed through Insta and fb, but I took the reference from their website, actor Vineeth informed about the release of Kaalchilambu through fb, by the way akatho Puratho was released on MX player

There are some more movies which are like independent films more than one hour. Eg: Babusenan Brothers (acclaimed film makers for moviea ottayaal patha, painted house (ചായം പൂശിയ വീട്)released two movies which are more than one hour those are painted house part 2, sunethra. Both are released through YouTube, also there is one movie called Anti Christ acted by Rajith Kumar of big boss fame released in The OTT Platform Prime Theatre

What I did is those movies which are more than one hour, I considered them as feature films

Better not to include them in the main list, since major Malalayalam Film database sites like MSI, M3DB (even IMDB) also are not considering them as feature films and have a separate section in their sites for Short films. If you have enough references and citations, can create a new List class article for Malayalam short films.

Malayalam movies 2018 and 2019 malayalam language list and Vahni unreleased

Hi Anish Vishwa I have updated the 2018 malayalam movie list with proper references added according to the dates and relevant links also included. At the same time 2019 list is also updated. In that Vahni starring Neena Kurup is unreleased film as I checked the instagram page of Director/cinematographer Adwaith Shine, in his page no updates of such a movie included and no relevant information about the release of Vahni

I checked regarding Vahi release.

Vahni released in one theatre in March 2019 and then released on High Hopes OTT in June 2021. You can add it in 2019 list.

If you want to keep advance releases then make a 'Other planned releases' table at the end and then move films to respective month and date once the movie is released. This advanced editing is affecting the data in other sites like 'Malayalasangeetham' who are depending on Wikipedia for correct data.
