Re: Do You Do Certain Manchu Translations

[edit]

Country names in Manchu are still debatable, but we basically agreed to transliterate from English. For some worldwide influencial countries which do not speak English, we prefer to name them in their own languages, such as Nihon (Japan), Doicilande (Germany). For many idioms we have used for quite long while, we prefer to keep it, e.g. Solho (Korea), Monggo (Mongolia), Dulimbai gurun (China), Oros (Russia), Inggiri (Great Britain).

Your contributed article, Xibe script

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Xibe script. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Xibe language. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Xibe language – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. It's a Fox! (Talk to me?) 20:19, 24 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

October 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of loanwords in Tagalog may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • *Mani (Always Sing.) Taíno: Maní via Mex. Sp.: Maní) – Peanut. Slang for clitoris.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 15:28, 7 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Massacre

[edit]

If Ariel sharon didn't carried out massacre, then who did? Bladesmulti (talk) 18:03, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It is stated that a Christian Phalangist militia named the "Young Men", loyal to Elie Hobeika, were the ones who did the killings and was widely believed to be ordered by Hobeika. I admit that this issue is thorny, but there are widely conflicting opinions in Israel's role in the massacre.

[edit]

Thanks for creating Inner Mongolian People's Republic, Kyuzoaoi!

Thanks for the helpful article. I've added an infobox, but it'll be great if you can check the details as I've been using not very reliable translations.

To reply, leave a comment on SPat's talk page.

Thank you!

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Transportation in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Foton (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

An article you recently created, Orders, decorations, and medals of Manchukuo, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Template:Ranks and Insignia of Non NATO Armies/OF/Manchukuo has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the entry on the Templates for discussion page. WikiCleanerMan (talk) 20:17, 13 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Orders, decorations, and medals of Manchukuo, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Standard ArbCom discretionary sanctions notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in gender-related disputes or controversies or in people associated with them. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello, Kyuzoaoi. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Orders".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 04:57, 12 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
