Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page List of YouTube personalities do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Esanchez(Talk 2 me or Sign here) 03:03, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bryn Morgan Page

[edit]

It's been two years ago today since i created this page of myself.

The article 2013 World Series has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The only thing known about this event is that Fox is due to broadcast the game on television. The logo, dates, and other information are not available, and won't be for some time. The information regarding the broadcaster is readily available at List of World Series broadcasters, and need not be spun off into a separate article.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 06:33, 21 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An additional concern expressed by another editor was:

Fails WP:CRYSTAL - Provides no new detailed content or citations beyond what is already listed on List of World Series champions, List of World Series broadcasters and other World Series articles

(Added from tagged page.) – Athaenara 05:01, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ron Artest/Metta World Peace

[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Ron Artest‎ a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Also the question of whether to rename this article is currently being discussed at Talk:Ron Artest#Requested move. You are, of course, welcome to contribute to that discussion. —Chris!c/t 23:45, 17 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:SuperBowl47.jpg

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:SuperBowl47.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Is this really the official Super Bowl XLVII logo? If so, please add a source to the File:SuperBowl47.jpg page. I should also mention that I occasionally monitor sports logos boards like Creamer's Sports logos site. There is actually an ongoing discussion here, so if I see any indication that this is fake, or fan-made, it's definitely gone (we actually had a complaint from those participating on that board three years ago). Thanks. Zzyzx11 (talk) 07:23, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Logo that i posted was from a site i found but i dont remember the source. however, it's likely that the next logo will have the super bowl trophy and the roman numerals there as always, i can change it to that logo. I did see in the Super Bowl XLVI program a XLVII logo with the trophy, roman numerals, and the superdome in the background. Just worth noting.

I have now removed the image from the article, based on the post on http://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/85403-super-bowl-xlvii-logo/page__view__findpost__p__1749370
This includes the latest version you uploaded with the trophy. Per the previous complaints on the sportslogo.net board, we really should not post anything until it is official. Regards. Zzyzx11 (talk) 04:43, 12 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tom D'Andrea, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page A House is Not a Home. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Copyright problem icon Your addition to Tom D'Andrea has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. You took text from [1] and [2] CutOffTies (talk) 22:21, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Tom D'Andrea requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0195235/bio?ref_=nm_ov_bio_sm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
