1934 Michigan Normal Hurons football team[edit]

You recently placed a speedy deletion tag on the above article. In fact, the article was created as part of a long-standing campaign to create articles for every season played by college football teams at the highest level, i.e., Division I FBS. Eastern Michigan University, fka Michigan State Normal College, is such a program. See Wikipedia:WikiProject College football/Season articles campaign for details on the campaign. In any event, this article is not appropriate as a speedy deletion candidate. If you wish to contest the notability, an AfD would be the proper way to proceed. Accordingly, I respectfully request that you remove the speedy deletion tag. Cbl62 (talk) 19:54, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As requested I have removed speedy delete tag and added AfD tag in it. --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 20:04, 30 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your recent tagging on Jean-Baptiste-Louis Camel[edit]

Hello there,

I just noticed that you tagged this article with insufficient context banner. Although we are not familiar with the subject but we can easily identify that the subject was a 19th century playwright. Short articles can be categorized as a stub but tagging them with insufficient context is not recommended. Regards Hitro talk 17:51, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Hitro, I thought it needed that but that you told me it can be categorized as stub. You can remove the tag. Weikipedian--Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:00, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bossler Tunnel[edit]

Hi, Bossler Tunnel is just starting and will be improved next week. Greetings--Buchbibliothek (talk) 18:11, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, I work with the German text and I live few kilometers away, I also visited the building site it is no promotion in the article. The German text is written by a transportation scientist--Buchbibliothek (talk) 18:14, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks and Welcome to my talkpage. Please Improve Bossler Tunnel fast Buchbibliothek .And tell me when it's done and I will remove the tag. Your Sincerely--Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:19, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Creating Boßlertunnel does not work for me at the moment, it is too big. Do you know how to delete it now? Regards--Buchbibliothek (talk) 18:32, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Delete What? Your Article or Tag in it. Yours Sincerely --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:35, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I cannot understand why this article should be flagged for WP:CSD, or even at all. The German original seems to cite fifty-one WP:RS sources. Narky Blert (talk) 23:26, 4 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Hi! May I ask why do you think the entry Pero Niño fails to deliver ([1]) a clear citation style? Best regards.--Asqueladd (talk) 18:14, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

First of all Please type the question or page name in title section. Here are your answers-
  • You should use Infobox style if you are writing Biography.
  • There should be more specific things like his career, his jobs, etc. which is not in your page/article.
  • It is like reading only info about his life and death.
  • It is too short and it need expansion.

Yours Sincerely --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:28, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

1) You have failed to answer my question. I will ask you again: why do you think the entry has an unclear citation style? Maybe it's a perfectly clear citation style that happens to be unknown to you, as you are an user with a whopping experience of 15 days in Wikipedia. Cheers.--Asqueladd (talk) 18:34, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As I said It Is UNACCEPTABLE in that condition of your page.Yours Sincerely --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:39, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
2) "You should use Infobox style if you are writing biography." Why? According to WP:INFOBOXUSE, "The use of infoboxes is neither required nor prohibited for any article. Whether to include an infobox, which infobox to include, and which parts of the infobox to use, is determined through discussion and consensus among the editors at each individual article."--Asqueladd (talk) 18:41, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Use Infobox because it changes the look of aricle. And It is said that nor prohibited so you can add it in the article which is written as Biography of Someone. To see infobox style visit my Userpage. Yours Sincerely --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:46, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I can add the infobox, and I can avoid it, too. The next time you do this when you don't have a clue about notability guidelines (or any Wikipedia policy for that matter), I will report you for sabotaging Wikipedia. Yours sincerely.--Asqueladd (talk) 18:50, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Like that page is not notability for Wikipedia so correct/maintain the article.--Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 18:53, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As a side-note, I have removed the A1 speedy tag on that article, as I do not believe it fits those deletion criteria. Regards, GABgab 19:24, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination[edit]

Please note that due to the prize money issued during this event it falls within the Category One of the Irish racing calendar which means the top level of Irish competitions. I will reference it better tomorrow.Racingmanager (talk) 22:18, 3 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Placing warnings[edit]

If you are going to place warnings like you did with this edit then check that you have your facts straight. Racingmanager did not remove the CSD tag from Kirby Memorial Stakes. User:KrakatoaKatie removed the tag when she declined you incorrectly applied nomination for deletion under WP:CSD#A1. If you are going to continue patrolling new pages, please read up and understand what the speedy deletion criteria and the appropriateness of other tags are. As it is you are starting to create more work for others rather than assisting. Nthep (talk) 19:43, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am sorry for the misunderstanding.Forgive me. --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 19:45, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I really suggest that you do not patrol new pages for the time being but try contributing content to articles instead. Nthep (talk) 19:47, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did but it was deleted. So nowadays I patrol new pages with the help of new pages feed. --Laxnesh LOKEN (talk) 19:49, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You are aware of the problems that multiple editors have with your page patrolling, as evidenced by your participation in the ANI thread linked on this page. Just a few moments ago, you added {{db-a7}} to Saint Sernin High School. The template specifically says that educational institutions are not eligible for WP:CSD#A7. If you do not know this and do not know what the templates say, you should not be adding them.
I'm warning you now - stop patrolling the new pages. Find another way to contribute – there are dozens of them. Create an article. Improve one. Copyedit pages. But do NOT tag new pages again or I will block you for disruptive editing. Katietalk 20:24, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

July 2016[edit]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Nthep (talk) 22:06, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
As has been pointed out to you more than once competence is required in patrolling new pages. Despite these warnings and suggestions that you read up on tagging for speedy deletion and other maintenance tags, you continue to wrongly patrol new articles creating additonal work for others. Your last example being to add {{lead too short}} to a one-line article and then when that error is pointed out to you, you add {{stub}} to the same article despite a more specific stub template already being present. Take Katie's advice, create an article. Improve one. Copyedit pages but do not patrol new pages. If after this block you continue to wrongly tag articles, the likelihood is that a longer block will be applied. Nthep (talk) 22:12, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:04, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers[edit]

Hi Laxnesh LOKEN,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. We're into the last five days of the Women in Red World Contest. There's a new bonus prize of $200 worth of books of your choice to win for creating the most new women biographies between 0:00 on the 26th and 23:59 on 30th November. If you've been contributing to the contest, thank you for your support, we've produced over 2000 articles. If you haven't contributed yet, we would appreciate you taking the time to add entries to our articles achievements list by the end of the month. Thank you, and if participating, good luck with the finale!
