The best way to learn about something is to experience it. Explore, learn, contribute, and don't forget to have some fun!
To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own private sandbox for use any time. Perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here to start it.

Your article submission sandbox

[edit]

Hello LouiseBrown1981. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled sandbox.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:LouiseBrown1981/sandbox}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 16:04, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for undeletion

Userspace drafts

[edit]

Hi. When I restored your sandbox, I noticed what seemed to me an irrelevant infobox about the Jordans Meeting House, so I took it out. Another user has since added it back saying "restoring to editor's preferred version". That doesn't matter - up to you what you do about it. The reason for this message is to tell you that you don't have to use a single sandbox for preparing articles: you can use titles like "User:LouiseBrown1981/Jordans Meeting House", so that you can have several drafts on the go at once. A quick way to set up a userspace draft like that is to click on Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title: that sets one up for you, correctly formatted with the {{userspace draft}} template at the top. Once an article has been moved to the mainspace, you can get rid of the remaining redirect, if you like, by putting {{db-user}} or {{db-u1}} at the top. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:30, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Denis Martin, a page you created, has not been edited in 6 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:30, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Photo request in Wexham

[edit]

Hi! I'm looking for somebody to take a picture of the Teikyo School United Kingdom (Framewood Road, Wexham, Buckinghamshire SL2 4QS UK), a boarding school for Japanese people, so it can be used in its Wikipedia article. Is it okay if you photograph the main entrance (seen in this image)?

If they let you photograph the campus buildings that would be a bonus :)
