Hello MErrfan, I was just writing to let you know that Wikipedia is not a place for advertising. As much as I respect your dedication to furthering your business, Wikipedia is not a WP:SOAPBOX, and as a result biased articles with a lack of a neutral point of view will be deleted.

MErrfan, you are invited to the Teahouse!

Speedy deletion nomination of Eyeweb

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Eyeweb, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, MErrfan. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Eyeweb, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 12:42, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Largoplazo (talk) 14:18, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

In response to your comment on the article's talk page, "I added unique and original information about the company and i dont want to do any kind of advertisement": Yet, the entire article was an advertisement. A proper Wikipedia article is neutral; it isn't written to convince the reader how great its topic is. Largoplazo (talk) 16:02, 15 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Umrah. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. The article Umrah Passport has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:NOTHOWTO

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 07:46, 12 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Al Safwah Royale Orchid

[edit]

Hello MErrfan,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Al Safwah Royale Orchid for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Information icon Hello, I'm Sagaciousphil. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Aberdeen have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. umrahexpert is not a reliable source - it is a website selling trips. I have also previously removed the content you have been adding to this article as it is already included in the Aberdeen Mosque and Islamic Centre article. Hello, MErrfan. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Hajj Visa, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Deletion discussion about Hajj Visa

[edit]

Hello, MErrfan,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Hajj Visa should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hajj Visa .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Hajj Visa. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you.
