A new mollusk article!

[edit]

Hello MGRutherford, Thank you so much for the very good new article on the non-marine mollusks of Trinidad and Tobago, a very helpful addition to the encyclopedia. It is a pleasure and an honor to welcome you to Wikipedia, and also to welcome you on behalf of WikiProject Gastropods, a group of editors on Wikipedia who try to create and improve articles about snails and slugs of every kind. In case you might be interested, I am giving you this invitation.

All my very best wishes to you, Invertzoo (talk) 22:51, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, Aperostoma translucidum trinitense, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ... discospinster talk 21:31, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Emperor Valley Zoo

[edit]

Dear MGRutherford,
I'm writing to you because I saw you're located in TT and have a background that leaves a slight chance you know where I can look something up that annoys me: Information about the Emperor Valley Zoo. I've written the German article about it, and due to the zoo being a bit... semi-organized in terms of public relations it lacks some up-to-date figures. Especially the number of species and individual animals. Do you happen to know a source I could use as a citation for these figures?
Thanks and kind regards, Grueslayer 13:08, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @GrueslayerGrueslayer, I'm afraid that I am no longer based in Trinidad and can't answer that question myself. Yes there are many issues with the EV Zoo and although I did try many times to work with them on various projects it was always frustrating. You could reach out to the Trinidad & Tobago Field Naturalists' Club at admin@ttfnc.org and see if a club member can help out. MGRutherford (talk) 20:29, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi MGRutherford,
thanks for pointing out the TTFNC, ah go write them.
Kind regards, Grueslayer 09:35, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
