I found some references/quotes taken directly from Jung Myung Seok's sermons. Based on these references I updated the "teachings" section. I also removed the part about his teachings on resurrection because I didn't see anything about resurrection in the cited reference. Based on the teachings in his sermon, "Only God and Jesus is(are) the Lord(s) and can be the Lord(s)." all parts that refer to him as a self-proclaimed messiah need to be removed. This obviously contradicts his own quotes.

Your own interpretation of the subject's sermons constitutes original research. On Wikipedia, we're supposed to find independent (as opposed to self-published) published, reliable sources which we then cite in the article. So, let's all work together doing that rather than trying to push any personal views on the subject, or edit warring over it :) benzband (talk) 19:06, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I already addressed this on the Jung talk page. We can just cite what Providence said about it's own teachings on http://providencetrial.com/2010/01/what-does-providence-actually-teach/Macauthor (talk) 13:45, 18 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Also, in case you might want take a look (and haven't yet), here is the source referencing the passage in the article about Jung "asserting that he is the Messiah", and here is the one for the bit about resurrection. benzband (talk) 19:18, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. --Harizotoh9 (talk) 18:59, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for tendentious editing on Jung Myung Seok, especially reinsertion of obviously tendentious material immediately after the article came off protection.. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Fut.Perf. 23:53, 19 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Jung Mung Seok article is a BLP article with an extraordinary amount of negative information. I'm not contending the negative information but only citing a small number of sources that offer a different point of view. Personally I would not call this tendentious editing. I can see why on the surface an administrator might see my most recent editing of the page as whitewashing, but if you check the articles cited you'll see that I am actually operating within the Wikipedia rules and substantially improving the page despite the user, Shii's accusations. Macauthor (talk) 02:59, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You still don't seem to recognize that your edits exist in a different factual universe from Wikipedia's, a universe where it is acceptable to use three minor sources against 50 to blame rape victims. Shii (tock) 09:57, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You must be confusing me with itsfiziks because editing all the other cites based on those three sources was his proposal and I never supported it. I only edit those cites to keep them true to their original sources which you have not done in every case. Most of the sources currently cited are just as major/minor as the three sources I believe you are referring to above and as the only sources that offer a valid opposing point of view they deserve placement in the article. You yourself said so on the talk page. Macauthor (talk) 11:42, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
As this is the same topic: I have reverted your renewed edits to the article in question; you have failed to get consensus for them; use the article talk page to hash things out; I consider your behaviour edit-warring. You know what might follow. Regards. Lectonar (talk) 19:55, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Jms in vietnam.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Jms in vietnam.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 20:00, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:Jungmyungseok.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Jungmyungseok.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:30, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can you please have them contact WP:OTRS about the licensing of File:Jungmyungseok.png? We need to ensure that the file was properly released under a free license. Werieth (talk) 23:23, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Can I just have them send an email to photosubmission@wikimedia.org? Macauthor (talk) 12:57, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
permissions-en@wikimedia.org would be the correct queue. Werieth (talk) 13:27, 9 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
