Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Liquidity Finder
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Liquidity Finder, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. creffett (talk) 01:17, 2 October 2019 (UTC)

Conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Mdijon. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. – Athaenara ✉ 06:26, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Unblock request
[edit]Mdijon (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Your reason here... I now realize the error I've made in persisting with one company profile as my 1st edit / addition. I have read and understand the conflict of interest which is completely understood. I will not make that mistake again. Apologies for the rookie mistakes. I understand Wikipedia is Encyclopedic and the author should be NOT have any conflicts of interests with articles posted. Kindest regards, M. Dijon
Decline reason:
Your use of the social media term "profile" suggests to me that you don't understand what Wikipedia is about. Wikipedia does not have "profiles", Wikipedia has articles. It is not enough for you to say that you understand the conflict of interest policy, you must demonstrate your understanding by describing how it applies to you including full compliance(by disclosing any and all conflicts of interest). You should also review the paid editing policy, as compliance with it is a Terms of Use requirement if you are a paid editor. Please also describe what subjects you want to edit about that are unrelated to your COI. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:47, 6 October 2019 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Your reason here I would like to appeal being blocked after my 2nd attempt at editing. The appeals guidelines state that you must admit the mistakes you've made, which I did. Using the word (Profile) was admitting my mistake. In my 1st appeal, I stated that I'm now 100% clear the "ENCYCLOPEDIC ARTICLES form VERIFIED, mostly academic, Sources are acceptable. I'm not a paid troll as stated above. Just want to become a trusted editor on Wiki, given the chance. With thanks and apologies for all the confusion, Mark Dijon
Decline reason:
You need to be 100% clear in your unblock request. You need to state that you will make no further edits to Wikipedia that relate to your company, yourself or your competitors, and you need to give some idea of what areas you plan to edit in the future. Yunshui 雲水 09:29, 7 October 2019 (UTC)

Request reason:
Thank you for the response Yunshui. I 100% confirm that I will not edit Wikipedia on anything relating to my company, myself or my competitors. My interest in editing Wikipedia is on two topics, History and Economics, specifically the History of Economic Thought / the moral sentiment of money and South African history.
Accept reason:
Based on your current request, you seem to me like an enthusiastic editor who began editing about a subject they knew most about which, in this case, happened to be your company. I'm satisfied that you stumbled into a WP:PAID editing violation inadvertently. Your persistence in seeking an unblock, and your willingness to express your future editing intent in the expected form, is indicative of a productive new editor. Please check-in at the WP:TEAHOUSE if you have questions about WP down the road. Chetsford (talk) 10:30, 7 October 2019 (UTC)
