[edit]Hello, I'm Doug Weller. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Chip Roy have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Your edits changed source content so the text disagreed with the sources. Doug Weller talk 11:36, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at American nationalism, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. You can't add material based on your own analysis. You've done this before. Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

The article Colin Dueck has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Colin Dueck
[edit]Thank you for creating the article about Colin Dueck. However, right now the article is way to short and does not have any citations connecting the article to any sources. Though I believe the topic to be notable, someone has requested deletion for the article if sources are not provided within seven days.
I recommend to do a couple of things: 1) Expand the article, so that it goes into more detail about its topic. 2) Find several reliable third-party sources--I recommend that you go and find a few good articles that have been written about Dueck and his books. 3) Then, add material to the article based on what is in the sources. 4) Make a citation for each statement you make in the article, linking each statement to the source from which the idea came. See the wizard at the top of the edit page to help in creating the citations. GloryRoad66 (talk) 21:36, 8 June 2024 (UTC)
Colin Dueck moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Colin Dueck. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it has no sources. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Boleyn (talk) 19:19, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
