[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 12:52, 20 July 2016 (UTC)
- Text such as:
- "Neetu Chandra is an Indian who is perceived as a global actor, producer and theatre artist."
- which you wrote, is not particularly encyclopaedic. I suggest you get more editing experience before making such large edits as this, where you created that text. You also removed information 'fields' from the infobox (such as |spouse= ) that will likely be needed in future. Please refrain from doing this until you are more expreienced.Regards, 220 of Borg
The article Shamir Tandon has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. noq (talk) 13:47, 20 July 2016 (UTC)

Gaurav Pandey
[edit]Meghabavisi, please explain what's happening here. c:User:Gaurav Pandey1009 uploaded his promo shot on commons which was deleted three times with a mismatch between the claimed authorship in the description and the copyright info in the file's metadata. As soon as he gets blocked for a week for this behaviour, you step in with another file on this wiki, File:Gaurav Pandey.jpg, which has the same mismatch in authorship. What's going on? At the moment it smacks of sockpuppetry. Caution follows... Cabayi (talk) 15:56, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. ubiquity (talk) 14:39, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Hi there, re: your edits a few months ago at Gaurav Pandey, the tone of the content you submitted is inappropriate for an encyclopedia and comes off as highly promotional. We're not here to write loving puff-pieces for article subjects. I've detailed the specific problems at Talk:Gaurav Pandey if you're curious about what specifically was wrong, but puffery, subjective details, attempts to get inside the subject's mind, lack of sourcing, were some of the main issues. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:09, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
